the right belt, easy to install..back to working..
Be sure to check for the proper 42 in cutting deck, there are several with different belts, this was on my second order...

I had a hard time finding a belt to fit my 2008 Murray. Went to several other stores and even my local Walmart. Finally was able to find it online and it fit perfectly!

Even though this was the second time I ordered this belt; the first one worked great; this one was too thick and had to return it.

BE PREPARED!!!
I broke the BLADE drive belt 22 weeks ago and went online and looked at the owners manual to get the belt number, looked it up and checked the number to make sure it was the right belt (113.5x.5in). Ordered the belt and they sent the exact numbered belt I ordered but it was the wrong belt. No trouble, got fully refunded by Walmart. Went to a lawn mower shop and ordered it. Same thing, next week I am going to an auto parts store who says they have it at that length , hope it is a good belt.

Belt is too short.............
I bought this belt as a replacement blade belt for my 2004 Murray 42" 15.5 Riding Mower,,,,,,,,,the manual calls for a 37 x 88 size belt....but this belt is shorter than the original 37 x 88 belt that came on the mower.......I finally got so frustrated that I went down to a Mower repair shop and had them compare this belt with a generic 37 x 88 belt that the shop had in stock.............What do You know...the Murray belt that Walmart sold me was at least 4" too short......... They should fix the problem.!!!! I read on other forums that there were a lot of people who bought this belt from Walmart..................and they had the same problem.......... Thanks a lot.....!!!

Not the right size for a 42" murray
Wasn't the right size therefore I returned and purchased the right one at a local loan mower repair shop.
