Bright Starts Lights & Sounds FunPad Musical Toy - Introduce Shapes, Colors, Numbers, Ages 3 months +

Bought this for my 1 year old granddaughter. It's very basic, a normal lights and sound toy for her age group. Everybody thinks they need a high tech gadget for their children, but this is the perfect toy for a 1 year old.

this toy is exactly as pictured. it is easy for my six month old grandchild to work, and it holds his attention. the lights move from character to character and the music is attention getting.

I just received these today. I ordered 2 of them. I opened up the box they came in and pulled them out and they just about fell on the floor. They were not AT ALL attached to their box. It looks as if they had broken off. Also, to me it seems as if they were played with....they were both turned on and one has skid marks on it. The volume isn't very loud. Overall, I think it will be fine for my grandchildren(twins) who are 19 months old and we all know kids can be hard on things so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a tablet.

This is a bright and loud pad that keeps kids entertained. The only downside to this is that there's really not that much interaction. The buttons on the center of the pad are not very sensitive and it is hard to press on them for a small kid. Great for the price.

I ordered this for my granddaughter, but was very disappointed in the play value. There's a flimsy piece of cloth over the buttons, which are too hard for a baby to push.

This was a cute toy but it obviously was a return that was shipped to me. It had been opened and just sitting in the box it came in with scratches on it. But I had to give it as a gift anyway since that was the only present for the baby I had. Not cool Wal Mart!

When I read about this product it said that it taught letters, shapes, colors, and counting. This product does nothing to teach those things it just lights up and sings short little songs about them. I would have never purchased this product if I had seen it in person first. I think it's only worth $2. It's a great toy for someone who just wants lights and music but the description makes it seem far more advanced than that and that's what I was expecting, therefore, i'm disappointed in this product.

Do not waste your time with this toy. Its tiny compared to the picture and it does not really do anything at all. The name sugests that it would be some kind of learning pad, when you get it you realize that its some buttons covered with cloth and to push those bittons you need fine motor skills and strength. Not for baby.

I read the reviews about the item coming in not attached to box and used. I didn't think it would happen to me but sure enough when I opened the box the toy was unattached. It still works and my daughter loves it but I paid for a new one not a return!

It is OK. Bought it for my 10 month old son. I wish there were buttons that could be presses instead of the feature they have in this funPad. It is little harder for kids to play with. If they had the buttons they could feel it with their fingertips. That is the biggest disadvantage.
