They were easy to install and work great... no wind noise... I put threadlock on the screws just in case.
Fit perfectly
After looking around these were by far the cheapest cross bars I could find. High quality build and really easy to install. The only other point to note is that they can only be installed in 1 position on the Explorer as the roof rails taper i.e. you can't fix them in the closer position, but this wasn't a problem.
The cross bars were considerably less expensive than Ford wanted and worked great with my large Thule.
Excellent product great price
Good and solid racks with an OEM look and feel. Easy to install, seems plenty strong.
Great price, exact fit, very happy
as described if not better. amazingly fast delivery. A new source for accessories for my truck.
These bars fit well, when adjusted, and look good on my Explorer. The end mounting pieces appear weaker than I would desire. Also, the instructions call for tightening the length adjustment fasteners after the installation, which is impossible. I would not be confident in placing much weight on them but they will work fine for my kayak.
I purchased roof rack bars and they were great but I also purchased in channel vent visors for my explorer, and those did not fit with automatic windows which would not roll up all the way as the sensors stopped when it detected them in channel. I contacted ASG to return them and they said once I opened them I could not return them, but it's not my fault that my windows would not roll up with them due to Ford's sensors and I would have no idea of that until I opened and installed them. Completely not my fault but now I have $60 with of vent visors that I cnanot use and can't return. Not too friendly if you ask me. Won't be recommending this company
