Briidea Power Failure Outage Alarm for Freezer, with LED Indicator Lights and 80-120dB Adjustable Alarm, Perfect for Monitoring Refrigerators, Freezers, and Sewage

After my garage freezer (or something) tripping the breaker and silently spoiling food several times, I finally did the sensible thing and bought a power outage alarm. This one works as expected. I can hear blaring inside the garage from inside the house, so future power fluctuations won't be so disastrous.

I purchased this power outage alarm to awaken me in the event of a power outage since I require supplemental oxygen 24 hours a day. I also purchased a power outage night light/lantern/flashlight to furnish light during the outage and plugged it into the Biidea. The Briidea power outage alarm has 3 loudness settings plus a reset after you have been alerted to the power outage. So far this unit has worked flawlessly. I believe it would be a great addition to a freezer to alert to a loss of power.

we need to know when the power goes out if we are sleeping. This works great. Alarm is loud enough to wake us up, and we are able to do what we must to ensure the safety of others.

Received in timely manner. I have a small freezer in garage that occasionally trips gfi for unknown reason. I tested and it works as expected. I don't want to loose meat stocked. Alarm is loud enough to hear inside and I now feel protected.

This makes a loud alarm once plugged in and loses power. I like that there are different sound levels. My negative 2 star is because it takes up both outlets. You cannot use the other outlet no matter how you plug it in. Let me explain. If you use the bottom outlet to plug this in, the top outlet is blocked obviously. But if you use the TOP outlet, you would expect to be able to use the bottom outlet. But no, this device extends into the bottom outlet by a few inches. This makes it not a good solution for the outlets. I had to buy an extension cord and plug this into the extension cord next to my fridge.
