[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been talking about painting/sealing out garage floor for a couple years now so when we saw this Rocksolid Metallic Floor Coating - Gunmetal, 70 Oz. Kit, we decided to finally do it! Very simple to use - everything comes right in the box. I would say the key to a beautiful, smooth look is to prep your garage floor well - don't skimp on this. Vacuum, wash and use the prep cleaner first. We also filled in a few cracks with cement in a tube. Let everything DRY and then proceed. The actual mixing and application of this floor coating is very simple. Just knead the package, pop the middle divider (by rolling the bag like a tube of toothpaste and make sure it's blended. Pour it on the floor in sections and smooth out and then make circular patterns with the roller to get a nice marbleized design in the floor. My wife used a brush and did around the edges and I did the rest. Our 2 car garage took about an hour to do. Two suggestions: work in small 5x5 sections and keep going in the same direction and get more than they say you'll need I didn't get as much coverage from each box and had to run out mid job to grab 2 more boxes.

When I got this set, I thought it was going to be just as difficult as the other sets that I had to mix and match colors as I go. I was very wrong. It took me time to clean out my garage, but I did and got to work. Mixing what was there already, pre-measured, gave me the perfect shades I needed to finish the whole garage. Even though it had to sit unused for a few days, I have to say I love my garage a bunch more now. It is so professional looking, even though I did it alone in my own home.

She paid a professional to put it on her garage, but this is so easy to do, my husband had no problems doing it ourselves. The hardest part was clearing out the garage, haha. You do have to act fast as it sets up quickly, so I recommend not doing it yourself. Having someone there to help move things along is really helpful. A few days later, it's set up enough to park on! Love it. We now want to do our workshop too! Also, make sure you check the package for how much you need for your garage size. Typical two car garages need two boxes, but you may need more if you have a really wide or deep garage.

Thankfully I found out this RockSolid Floor Coating kit. It's super easy to use. The kit includes part A & B solution, concrete etch and a roller. The instruction is quite simple and easy to follow as I already done similar job before. The solution dries out quick, approximately 10 hours but I left it more than 48 hours to make sure everything is settled. I'm super happy with the final result because the floor looks so nice and shiny. I definitely will buy this kit again for the next project.

Recently moved into a new house and knew we wanted to do the floors with epoxy or something and this kit was super easy. Makes keeping the floor clean easier. I just rinse out water gets sprayed with a hose and let it dry. Right back to beautiful floors. This kit is very easy to use, very clear concise directions and the outcome is awesome! We loved the look so much we purchased more kits to do the other concrete floors in our garage and basement storage areas.

Kit, on the floor of my garage, and I really liked the result, the floor has a lovely shine, as if it were a mirror in which you can reflect yourself! It is really easy to apply, it comes with a roller that makes it easy, you just have to have the stick to extend the roller. It dries quickly but gives you enough time to spread the product without much problem. You must be absolutely sure that the floor where you are going to apply it is very, very clean, because any dirt will stick to it, but don't worry, it comes with citric acid to help you with that! On the other hand the smell of Rocksolid Metallic Floor Coating - Gunmetal, is somewhat strong, however it is not so strong that you can't stand it while it is applied, and the best thing is that after a few hours you can no longer feel it. The only thing is that you must be very careful with the temperature of the floor because if it is very cold the product should not be applied, unfortunately when I received my product it was in the middle of winter and I waited until I had the opportunity that the temperature was not below the temperature recommended by the manufacturer, so as soon as I had the minimum recommended temperature, my husband applied it. However, there were some small bubbles that we assumed that it was because the temperature was still very cold, because they formed more in the part of the garage farthest from sunlight... Despite that the floor looks great and I love it, my son has already played on the floor with his skateboard and nothing has happened to him!

POOR RustOleum RockSolid products and the BIGGEST POOR from stand behind it products ** I have been royalty and spend a lot of my money to RustOleum Garage Floor products since 2006. From Expoxy shield garage floor coating & RustOleum rock solid metallic floor coating. My Garage make over in Austin, Texas and the weather mostly HOT and dry. I used 9 of the kits after completely scrape off the old Exopy garage floor products (machine sand all of the existing, power washed, air dry for the few days and re-do the new RustOleum rock solid metallic floor coating at over 80 degrees in open garage temperature). After nearly 6 months later the new RustOleum garage floor started peeled off a big chunk from my car tired sat on it. Day after day it keep peel bigger and bigger areas. I had contact RustOleum customer support named 'Debbie Horan' and she is giving me many reasons for not warranty the products. ASKED and NOT GIVE. SAVE your time and money for NOT using RustOleum (NOT so) RockSolid Metallic Garage kit.
