I needed a lock for my work locker and I thought a purple one would make it personalized. The color is very pretty and is perfect. When unlocking, the keys stay inside the lock so you don't accidentally lock them inside the locker. It comes with two keys, so I keep one hidden and keep the other on my car keys. It seems sturdy but I haven't needed to try and cut the lock so I cannot speak for its safety.

Whatever you do, do not purchase a lock from Walmart. Their employees are sleazy as you know what and will cut open the bottom of the package to take a copy of the key. If the point of a lock is for security purposes, why the heck would I want a package that has been open? Somebody literally took this opened lock and packaged it up for delivery. Let's use our critical thinking skills here, people. I know you work at Walmart, but please try and use your brains a little. If a lock's packaging has been cut open, why would I want it? And the best part is Walmart won't do anything unless I take my butt all the way back to the store to return it. So the employee is sleazy and untrustworthy and as a result, the customer has to suffer. Not to mention, I paid money for this and now cannot use it because of security reasons. Walmart you suck.

You can't take the key out of this unless it's locked. Not a fan. Only thing I like is the color..
