Great combo lock for the pool fence

This Brink's Brass 3-digit Resettable Combination Padlock is perfect for all-purpose use. It is weather proof so it is perfect for my shed (so now I can take my rusted one off). I like the combination, as I seem to always misplace the shed key over the winter months. I like the way you can set your own combination so you can program it to a number that is familiar to you. The description states that it is lightweight (which it kind of is), but you can feel the weight of the brass to know that the lock is built for the best security. The shackle of the lock is made of steel which is noted to be a great cut resistance material. Another great feature of this combination lock is that it can be reset to another code if you chose to change it. I am very satisfied with this Brinks lock.

Good deal as expected

Brinks solid brass body lock is a good solid lock you can reset the combination on. It's very easy to reset and use to use without having to worry about losing the key all the time . I love this lock . Yes I would absolutely recommend it to a friend .

I guess my favorite part is you can change the combination to something easy for you to remember. I've had countless locks that I forgot and the combination to you and then you have to throw them away. Not this lock you can set it to something easy and if you need to later you can always change it. Great design high-quality and they did not skimp on materials to make it.

The down and dirty details on this combo lock are (1) it's a light duty lock not meant to stop someone from stealing but to deter them from stealing. Probably best used for locking indoor items, like a gun vault, jewelry/money case, school locker, gym locker, and similar items. (2) I'm impressed with the smoothness in the dials. They do not get hung up on the rotating number...very nice. Maybe this feature alone is worth the price of the lock. (3) Extremely easy to change the combination. (4) I think this lock is a showpiece. Solid brass and nice Brinks engraving. This one of the few times I do not mind having the manufacturer/sponsor name prominently displayed on the product. Assuming it can stand up to moderate smack with a hammer or something, I'll gladly recommend it. However, its a small lock and I know how desperate some fold are so I will be very conscious of where I will use it.

This Brink's combination lock is very hefty and so easy to set your own combination. Can also be reset just as easily anytime you choose. Great bike or locker lock. It is also easier to read than those locks with a dial when the painted numbers eventually wear off.

This padlock means business! It's larger and heavier than I expected, weighing in at almost 7 ounces. In the attached picture, I'm holding the lock in my hand to show the size of it. The combination dials operate smoothly, and the numbers are easy to read. This lock is more than sturdy enough to safeguard valuables in the locker room at the gym.

I needed to buy about 12-15 of these as I had problems with theft of livestock (due to covid). I had about 4 out of these that have seized or the tumblers malfunctioned. They do have the replacement warranty, which is great. I did expect a little better from the Brinks name though. The remaining locks are working beautifully and I have not had anymore stolen livestock.

I really wanted to like the brinks padlock, but I could never the lock to change the combination from the original default. We tried so many times and the instructions on the back were easy to follow, but the only time I could ever get it to lock was With the original combination of 000. The padlock is made of a good heavy brass.
