Works wonders. I initially bought the Avalon a3 brcaueebof the great reviews it accumulated, due to the quietness of the machine. However, after receiving it, it the machine produced a sound while dispensing water that was excruciatingly painful to hear. I even contemplated my thirst on more than one occasion. I eventually ended up exchanging it for this machine, and the difference between the two is night and day. I world recommend this machine a million times over. I even get excited to quench my thirst in lieu of preferring saliva, just to not hear that noisy Avalon filtered dispenser.
I like the convenience of being able to refill the bottle at home versus having to lug 5 gallon bottles back and forth from the store.
The bottom fill and the filtration system are true benefits
Water quality tastes great which I am really picky about when it comes to filtered water instead of bottles. Can be a bit loud when it pumps water vs. a top load if you're not use to it, but what bottom load cooler isn't? It's a trade-off I'll take for the convienience. Three temps is a plus however it doesn't pump cold and room temp at the same if you are trying to use both for faster dispensing so that's a bummer. Overall it does the job well, you just have to be patient if you refill alot of large water bottles often like we do.
Easy to set up but sporadically has noise which requires unplugging overnight to fix.
Pros: I like that they put a red floater in the drip pan, it rises if there is a lot of standing water so you can visually see if you need to empty it. The machine is relatively quiet and looks very nice. I like that it has 3 temperature choices - Hot, Cold, and Room Temperature. The hot has a safety latch, but an adult, even with limited dexterity could use it. Cons: I was disappointed that the room temperature water dibbles out and takes at least twice as long compared to the chilled water. The opening for the water bottle is a tight squeeze because of the filters in the back. Making the opening another 1 square inch bigger would easily resolve. The door is completely smooth with no indent to grip to pull open the door, so you have to be careful not to break a nail.
The pump cleaning drain does not have the part that connects to the drain outlet. I cannot use the unit because I cannot complete step 5 of the set up which is to flush the filters
called Brio and they said they cant do anything and i need to take it back to Walmart to return it. such a hassle when it was delivered to the door but now i need to take it back in less than 2 month. Walmart has an option to return from home and item gets picked up from your home but this item isnt one of them???
Damaged again from shipping, second one arrived the same was as the first one. Ships from California to Michigan.
I'm noticing that the water has a strange taste despite following all the correct steps during installation. Could you provide any advice or troubleshooting tips to address this issue?.
