This is a great product. The installation was quick and easy. There are choices for hot cold and room temperature water. It's quiet, and looks great. There's no more lifting of heavy 5 gallons of water bottles.

Easy installation in our breakroom. Now we have clean, filtered & great tasting water.

Certainly a step up from lugging 5-gallon bottles of water into the house constantly. The until looks sharp and fits onto the counter well. As for the drawbacks impacting the score, the unit is louder than I anticipated, the water taste like refrigerator water and the provided hardware was a nightmare to work with. This is a solid purchase for convenience and we estimate a 3.5 year payback (not including gas/time savings for getting water).

I replaced my Kenmore Water Optimizer Countertop with this unit. I'm very unimpressed by a few things. The first thing is that the night light is either always on or always off and controlled by a toggle switch on the back of the unit. There should really be an option for it to only turn on the light when you're dispensing water. The next thing that disappointed me is that you have to hold the button down while dispensing the water. There is no auto fill option, which is something that my old unit had. The only reason I kept this unit and didn't return it is because the water provided by the Brio water dispenser does taste better than my previous dispenser. Additionally, I love how both filters hide in the side panel on the unit and how tall the dispenser area is allowing you to fill tall containers.

Nice design, clear instructions, easy to operate, good installation kit. However, since day 1, whenever the compressor turns on for the cold water, there's a rattling sound at the back. I've seen this on earlier reviews, but I thought Brio would've fixed it.

The "cold" water option has a terrible taste... like, you don't want another cup, bad. I didn't expect that since it's got filters. Apparently, it's the water storage tank (so it can be chilled). Either way, it's really bad. I shouldn't have to go through some extensive process in addition to flushing the lines on installation. This should be something the company cleans before it's sent. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

i was dispointed after installing the product only to find out that my water is not purified as claimed by the manufacturer. the water from my faucet measures the same as the water coming out from the product.

I had 3 total units. First unit, leaked out the front of the machine immediately. Brio replaced with a second unit. Second unit, cold water stopped working before year 2 ended. Brio replaced with a third unit. Third unit, cold water stopped working before year 2 ended. Doesn't make a lot of sense to pay for a unit (and their filters) with such poor manufacturing.

The hot water system has a poor design. Last week, it started tripping the GFCI outlet with a short to ground. I don't know what would have happened if this was connected to a regular outlet. MFR Date: MAR 2021 Purchase Date: OCT 2021 Failure Date: MAY 2024 Serial Number: 340C217280314022W00295
