Brita Standard 10-Cup, White Plastic Water Filtration Pitcher

Save plastic bottles by purchasing this filter. The water tastes so good and fresh. The only drawback is it doesn't have extra filter provided with the jug as it used to be. It has a green light indicator for the reset of filter which is a great feature.

One thing people need to realize about brittas, the bigger ones anyway is that you can pull the top off and set a timer on your Britta and the green light tells you when you need to change your filter( or just do it every two month for the white and every 6 for the blue). Enjoy your britta's everyone, I love my 10 cup Black Britta!

Am so glad I got this. I did order several filters due to not wanting to be without when the time comes to change it. I have saved some money by not buying bottled water, yes I still buy a pack of 24 which now lasts almost a month. I was buying two-24 packs every other week so that is quite a savings. Would recommend.

I had my last Brita pitcher for 7plus years. Sad to see it go but it started to look ugly. I love the upgrades to this pitcher. It pours faster, I like that the timer could be reset to the regular filter or “elite” filter and I like the slender look. Easy to fill and easy to wash.

I've been buying Brita products for a long time and their quality has been consistent; this pitcher was no exception. It was exactly as advertised and it was very well packed against damage in shipping. The company has also refrained from raising its prices to the degree that so many other companies making similar products have done, so Brita is still an affordable choice for everyone.

My tap water still has a taste that I don't enjoy, but I squeeze lemon juice into it and that takes care of it. I like that this water pitcher eliminates me buying plastic water bottles - better for environment and better for eliminating those forever chemicals that can leak into plastic. It also saves me money in my budget. I keep the water in the fridge and it is ice cold. I got a good insulated water bottle that keeps the water cold and I am very happy with the Brita water pitcher. I just read you need to be sure and change the filters, as scheduled. They can get mold if not tended too.

I have been using these Brita pitchers for a while to refill my coffee machine with filtered water. I recently was turned on to this bigger one because I purchased one at a thrift store. I needed to replace that one and purchased this upgraded edition. I love it. Filters quickly, not a bad price (they get you with the filters :)) However, I wish they could get the filter light in a more visible place - you cannot see it unless you lift up the lid. The other bummer is the number of times you have to refill it - but for my needs - it is perfect. I might have to fill it every two days or so. Also - really great if you want to give your fur babies filtered water - we have very hard water and all of the bowls get that build up on them.

Finally had to replace my decades old pitcher. Am adjusting to a new design on this one. It is not as easy to fill as the older pitchers. I put water in a huge jar to cool in the refrigerator and get rid of the chlorine. There is a hole in the lid that is maybe 4" in diameter. My aim when pouring the water in, is improving. Pitcher is quite top heavy compared to previous design, put more strain on the handle. However it pours much easier and faster. There is a battery operated change filter feature. I am not enthused about that. Don't actually need it. The hard water issues, the usage, and taste usually result in 7 weeks max. The same filters I have can be used. Good fit, no leakage. Don't know if the new and improved Britta filter can be used and nothing indicates what type of filter it is (doesn't have the slit in it). I did not know the pitchers have names, lol. This new one is called Tahoe. No instructions for setting/resetting battery - seems self-explanatory. We shall see if the auto change feature matches when I know to change to filter. I really do appreciate that pouring water into anything is much more efficient that the older pitcher.

When you change the filter, it will not reset. Bought a new one, the same thing happened. Call Brita, very rude, they don't know their products and refused to help. Called them because it takes 3 to 4 months before you change filter and then Walmart will not exchange or refund. Would not buy Brita again!!

My last pitcher had a crack in it and broke. I recently ordered this one and it came with a scuff and looks like a tiny crack on the side. The only way to return this is in store and no way to mail it back. The Walmart store is far from me, and I don't have access to a vehicle. I learned my lesson. I won't order Brita filter pitchers again. I should have listened to the reviews.
