This Smaller size 5 cup Brita pitcher so far is no leaking like the 10 cup due within 2 weeks. Water is filtered OK, better tasting then out of tap and cheaper than buying water bottles.
Great for us folks who can't lift the heavier water pitchers! B)
Was red as pictured, unlike described. But serves me well. A handy small pitcher that readily filters water to yield a clean drink.
The item was the perfect size. Fits well in the refrigerator without taking too much space. The Brita filter pitcher saves you money from having to buy bottled water. It was a very good purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second time we have purchased a pitcher from Brita and we still love it. It's so convenient and easy to use. I love being able to drink clean filtered water by using my tap water. I love that the pitcher can be used over and over and just needs the filter to be replaced. The new filter indicator and reminder is great feature!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Metro pitcher is just what I was looking for to keep in my office to fill my Keurig for my quick coffee break needs. I just learned you should keep it in the refrigerator though, luckily I have one just in the other room. I like it because it's small, easy to fill and a definite plus is the electronic indicator filter change reminder.
Small, compact design that fits well on fridge shelf especially in a small apartment. Water drips fast which is better than a previous model I owned where you pour it out against the filter and it would take a really long time to fill out the glass. This one you pour into a reservoir and it immediately filters it into the pitcher. Two dings against it: the top that keeps everything water-tight can be a big annoying to pop off requiring the right amount of force that if you still have water filtering out doesn't upset too much. The second is the color. I ordered the one that says turquoise but I definitely got red. Not a huge problem but would rather have known from the beginning of the ordering process there was only one color pathway available.
The only drawback is that the lip of the pitcher has an opening that allows particles in the air and flying bugs to get in. I stuff a papertowel in the opening to avoid this. Overall, it's a good value.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Brita and fill it up several times a day...living in AZ it's hot right now, so I'm drinking a lot these days, and the Brita filter is really great for filtering out our chemical water! This pitcher is easy to handle as well.
My bad bought a 6 cup one not the 12 cup one. Oops !
