Felt Luxurious

AKRM April 28, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very fortunate that the wonderful people at Stellar Product Review allowed me to sample this travel system! Like other Britax products, this is a quality, heavy duty stroller and car seat combination. I have used Britax products in the past for my other children. Unlike some Britax products I have tried, which valued function over form, this Britax B-Free

Fantastic Seat AND Stroller

CampMom4 April 28, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to the Stellar Parent Panel for gifting us this excellent infant carseat and stroller! We LOVED the Britax B-Free and B-Safe Flex Fit System. With four kiddos, we feel like pros who know what we like and what we don't. I am always a little skeptical about whether a travel system can make a good stroller as well. I was so pleasantly surprised by this system! The infant carseat is comfortable and easy to use. I have a very tall baby and I love the way she sits up comfortably in this seat. The carseat attaches easily to the stroller with two simple, easy to use attachments that right now I leave right on there. While we primarily used the stroller with our 5 month old, my 2 1/2 year and 4 year olds also enjoyed a comfortable ride! My favorite feature is the way that the cover of the carseat fits securely into the cover of the stroller while baby naps. The lift flap has a great little mesh window to check baby or help circulate air but I don't have to separate the whole thing, letting sun in in the process. The whole thing was super easy to install, easy to open and collapse and had all the features I want without being bulky and taking over my limited trunk space. All in all, this is a GREAT carseat and stroller option.

Safe, well built system that will last!

ATG1112 April 28, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The B-Sade Gen2 FlexFit Infant Seat and B-Free stroller travel system is so well designed! Right out of the box, the infant seat base is super easy to install in the car with the SafeCenter LATCH, and I had a very secure installation with minimal effort. The option to install without latch seems easy as well, although we did not have a need to utilize this installation method. My 3 month old is 15 pounds, and we quickly achieved a great fit with the adjustable headrest/harness, with the only exception being that I felt as though the added thickness from the headrest pushed his head forward very slightly. I would have loved to keep his head and body aligned a bit more at this stage, but at his weight he was too big to use the infant pillow. I do really like the extra layer of impact protection the headrest provides, so this wasn't a dealbreaker since baby still seemed comfortable and safe even during long rides. The Gen2 FlexFit infant seat easily clicks in the car seat adaptors on the stroller. The stroller itself was a bit heavy, but it felt very sturdy and had wonderfully high weight and height maximums, so even my three year old rode around comfortably with tons of room to spare! The numerous pockets on the stroller are strategically located on the back and in the basket so I had zero need for a stroller organizer! Although I couldn't fit my large diaper bag in the basket easily, I was super pleased with how easy the basket was to access from both the front and back. Never again will I have to remove everything from the basket to get to the first thing I put in. The stroller handles really well and was easy to push one handed on a variety of surfaces. Possibly my favorite stroller feature is the incredible canopy with the extra zippered extension! I have zero worries about my kids suffering in the sun in this stroller! Overall I would definitely recommend this travel system to anybody looking for a system that will be super functional from the early infant days well into the preschool years! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system to test and review!

Winning Combo

TaylorK April 28, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stroller is awesome! I have used multiple strollers, in all price ranges, and the B-Free stroller is hands down my favorite! The assembly was a breeze and we were strolling in no time. I've used the stroller with both my infant as part of the travel system, as well as with my toddler as a single stroller. It is easy to push and glides with hardly any effort. Even on our gravel road I was impressed at how easy it was to navigate. The storage basket underneath is perfect for stowing a diaper bag with plenty of room to add more items. My toddler loves the large canopy that extends to shield her from the sun no matter the time of day. The recline feature is easy to adjust and can be done in seconds. The stroller folds easily, is compact, and stands on its own while folded. The B-Free will be in our fleet for years to come! The B-Safe Gen2 Flexfit car seat is amazing. I could get the base secured on my own instead of having to have my husband's muscles to get it tight like other car seats I've used. The base is easy to adjust and read to make sure the base sits correctly on the seats in our different vehicles. I also love that the base isn't needed—I can leave the seat and my daughter with a caretaker and if something comes up and they need to leave she would still be safe. The European belt guide is a great feature. The manual makes it very clear on how to ensure the proper fit with and without the base. I love how easy the headrest and harness are to adjust without having to take the car seat apart. I also find this car seat to be much easier and more comfortable to carry than others I have used. It is also very easy to attach to and release from both the base and the B-Free stroller. The audible click helps confirm it is secure. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to try this awesome travel system. I was more than impressed with Britax on every part of this travel system and can't sing its praises loud enough!

Incredible!

Kendall H April 28, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to start off by thanking the Stellar product testing panel for providing me with this travel system. I cannot say enough good things about this system! It is so incredibly easy to use/put together, looks nice, and has so many great features. I have a newborn and a 2 year old and drive a Toyota RAV4 suv for reference. I'll start with the infant carrier/car seat and base. The base took minutes to install in the car and felt extremely secure (I often feel as those seats that use bases aren't as secure, but even shaking this it was very sturdy and stayed completely in place. The carrier uses a very easy “click” in place to secure into the base, and a one handed lever to remove it from the base when you arrive at your destination. The car seat itself is very lightweight but also sturdy, the canopy is large so it blocks all of the sun rays from the baby, and the materials are all soft and comfortable. It took me 2 tries to install the car seat without the base properly, but once I got it down it felt very secure so I wasn't worried about baby's safety at all, this made it so easy for me to leave my little guy with his grandma for a few hours without having to switch vehicles with her or switch the base into her vehicle. Whether using the base or not, I could still squeeze sitting in the middle seat between 2 car seats in my RAV4 when we went on a long drive and I wanted to be with the kids. As for the stroller, this is my favorite part of the travel system! It is lightweight, folds up small, glides so smooth, is easy to use/navigate, and has great features! The carrier simply clicks into place onto the stroller as it does with the base, and you take it off the same way, with a one handed push lever. There is a large canopy on the stroller itself so you can completely encapsulate the baby in the carrier if you need to, and it has a small window you can lift up to see inside. If you are using the stroller past the infant stage, you simply pull on the straps at the back to get it into a seating position for a toddler. I tried it with my 2 year old and he seemed very comfortable and I liked that I could control the angle that the seat was at. There is a large under seat storage basket which you can access from the back OR from the front, where you just lift door and have instant access. This was so incredibly convenient! I kept items that I would want to easily reach for my toddler like his water cup, bag of snacks, etc. the handle bar on the stroller can easily be adjusted to nearly any position you want with just the click of a button on the side. At first I wasn't sure it was necessary but I quickly realized how convenient it was that I could have the handle bar higher and my husband could easily put it lower when he was pushing it, making it comfortable for us both (we are both tall, I'm 5'9” and he is 6'1”). I did feel like when the baby was in the carrier in the stroller that he was a little low compared to me, but it didn't hinder the use or how I feel about the system, I could still just slightly bend down to give him his pacifier, etc. the stroller also came with a storage pack that is just under the handlebars. It has 2 open pockets and a large zipper pocket. It is very heavy duty, I could put my large 32oz metal tumbler in the open pocket, and it stayed upright and didn't spill while walking. The stroller wheels lock by simply stepping on one level on the right back wheel, and you just lift it to realize the lock. It can all be done in just one second with the touch of your foot. Lastly, the stroller folds so easily, and for a semi-large stroller, it folds almost in half! I was so impressed by how much smaller it was when folded, I have tried many “travel” systems that were still so large when folded that I couldn't fit them in my Honda Civic trunk. This one can fit in either vehicle, and in my RAV4 I even had room for my German Shepherd to still lay in the back! To fold it all you have to do is push a button and then pull up on the strap on the seat and it just instantly folds. I am so happy with everything about this system and have no complaints about it. We have used it daily on our walks (mostly sidewalk, sometimes a little dirt or grass), and have used it out and about at doctors offices, etc. and I am so happy knowing that I will be able to use it at least for the next few years as my youngest grows. We have not traveled by plane because of everything going on, but I do think that this would be a great system to travel with since you can use the car seat safely without the base, giving you a large piece that you don't have to bring with you.

Nice, high quality travel system

Anonymous April 28, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice, high-quality, travel system for a much better price than some of the other comparable brands. The stroller is fantastic, I love the one-handed fold, the big storage pockets and the large canopy. It's a nice stroller for off-roading too, I use it to walk around my neighborhood, but also to stroll my baby around in our yard. I love that the car seat fits in with this stroller with the attachments, I wouldn't have thought of a stroller like this coming as a travel system, but it's awesome that it does. The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is that you have to use attachments to fit the car seat to the stroller (just an extra step than some that the carseat just fits without attachments) and the car seat is heavier than other car seats I've had in the past. Other than that (which are really pretty minor issues), this is a great travel system. I'd highly recommend this! Put it on your baby registry! I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel

Fantastic Travel System

Acichinelli April 29, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving the Britax Travel system from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, we were thoroughly impressed. The stroller is lightweight and fits perfectly into our trunk, while still allowing room for other items. The car seat easily attaches the stroller. The car seat is a little heavy, making it somewhat difficult to carry around with my growing son. The base is very simple to install and the carseat can also be easily installed without the base. I have struggled a few times to remove the seat from the base.

Jmmmm April 28, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this travel system. The stroller maneuvers super easy. Folding it can be a pain, definitely not a one handed fold. The black fabric is super easy to clean(my son is a big time spitter). The car seat is very nice as well. Overall, I really liked it. The option for installing without the base is nice, since we only have one base but multiple vehicles. The base instal was super quick and easy as well. The actual car seat had a few drawbacks for us. My son is a big boy(92nd percentile for both height and weight at 4 months) and the seat was a bit snug for him. It's quite narrow and the crotch buckle had to be moved out to the farthest slot and even then it was difficult to buckle at times. Also, releasing the harness was a bit tricky as well Overall, I definitely would recommend this travel system, just had a few draw backs for us that brought it down to 4 stars. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this travel system.

Britax Travel System

Alayna D May 2, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice travel system. I'll break down the things I liked about it and the things I didn't. Car Seat: Pros: -lightweight -easy and convenient to install with the base -fairly easy to install with just the seat belt Stroller: Pros: -rolls easily and smoothly -tires are somewhat heavy duty so it goes well over gravel/uneven surfaces -sunshade can expand really far to block sun and wind -fabric is aesthetically pleasing and also seems durable -fairly easy to fold and unfold (although to say it's "one-handed" is a bit of a stretch, in my opinion) -Being able to adjust the handle angle is really nice -the basket is a good size, large enough to fit a diaper bag -this stroller can definitely be used well into your child's toddler years Cons: -no organizer tray at the top for parent to sit drinks, put phone down, etc. There is a zipper pouch to hold things, but I much prefer a tray. - There is no tray in front of baby to hold snacks or toys -I found adjusting the recline on the seat to be a bit of a pain -I dislike that the infant seat adapter pieces are removable. They're not that large and not really in the way of anything when they're on the stroller, so I feel that could have been made a permanent part of the stroller. Having to put them on before attaching the infant seat is a bit of a pain, plus it's another separate piece to potentially lose. While there were a couple things I would've changed about the stroller, overall this a great travel system and I'd recommend it to any new mom. I was given this travel system to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Just awful

KMot May 9, 2021

I have been so disappointed in both the stroller and the carseat. The carseat gets stuck to the base all the time so when I go to lift the carseat out of the car, the base just comes up with it. The base does not feel securely fastened to the car despite having it checked by hospital staff, family and friends. The stroller's front wheel rattles non stop and just sounds and looks really cheap. The "infinite recline" feature is a joke. It is impossible to adjust it so your kiddo has a level back. My son is always hunched over to one side or the other, and the straps are pinched and twisted make the incline/recline rough and clunky. For a mid range price, both the car seat and the stroller feel and look really cheap, and do not feel safe at all. I was not able to return the set, but I did not feel safe driving around with my kiddo in this carseat/base so we went out and bought another one. I didn't even feel safe donating it to someone else. So bad.
