This brand was the original installed in our 40 year old house. Replaced one bath fan with different model and it shorted out wiring. Installed the new Broan and it works great. In fact, it is much quieter that the original Broan fan in the master bath. I will be purchasing another new one to replace the 40 year fan.
Good price. Easy install. Replacing the unit we have had for 14 years.
Great value, replaced my old Broan ceiling heater with this one. Works like a charm and heats the entire bathroom adequately.
Ceiling heater is easy to install. I replaced a light fixture with the heater (didn't need the light fixture). Flush mount, so no crawling around in the attic required, and no additional holes. Installed directly to my standard light fixture mounts
Bought to replace 40-year-old model. Replacement model cheaply made.
Does not warm up my bathroom. It is the only source of heat but it's not warm enough for me.
This model is definitely worse than the previous model. I installed the previous model over 25 years ago and it is still working flawlessly. I installed the new model to compliment it because of large size of my bathroom. The new model is real noisy until it heats up to its peak operating temperature.
I bought two at the same time and had them installed by a professional electrician in November of 2025. One is still working, but the other one quit working after about six months. I had to pay an electrician to remove it to check and he said the fault is in the equipment.
When I took the heater out of the box, I noticed some dented areas around the outside area of ceiling pan on the heater. I didn't find any other visible damage. I went ahead and had the heater installed because I need it before the cold weather arrived. It only worked for three days, and it was on for about ten minutes. On the fourth day it quit working during taking a shower and being on for about twenty minutes. I think this heater is worthless and I should have listened to some other negative reviews from other people that bought this model 157 heater. It is a shame that a manufacture sells a heater that doesn't put out heat after twenty minutes and shuts down. Now after the heater being off for twelve hours, it won't even turn back on when I flip the wall switch on. Now I have to see about removing this so-called heater!
They sent me a pile of junk somebody returned disassembled and they didn't bother to checkout. PURE EVIL!
