Brod & Taylor Battery High Capacity Digital Kitchen Scale for Baking, Cooking, Meal Prep, and Other Measurement

I like the light weight and simplicity of this scale for keeping handy on my kitchen counter. The high capacity is great because I can use a heavy container and not worry about weight. I've had some issues with the touch sensitivity of the 'tare' button. It often requires several touches to tare the weight.

The Brod & Taylor scale is amazing. It is so nice to be able to make large batches of pizza dough in one bowl. With my old scale, I would have to measure on the scale and then dump into the large bowl. Now, I measure each item, tare the scale, and add the next item. 33 pounds is a lot of pizza dough!

This was a gift along with the proofing box; however, there was a mix up with this item. After contacting customer service, a replacement was received quickly and in time for a b-day celebration. My son loves the larger scale capacity and smooth surface for ease of cleaning. Great products and great customer service!

I finally had the chance to use my new scale from Broad & Taylor what a beautifully designed product. Previously I used an OXO for 20 yrs the limited weight capacity was always a draw bad and only two weight choices. The new scale worked perfectly, accurate and easy to use & read. Looking forward to trying more B & T products in the future.

This scale is just right for general baking and bread ingredient measuring. Plenty of room and the whole surface is the scale platform with good capacity. The readout is well lit and facing up where you can see it instead of facing outward like other models. The auto-shutoff is of a good duration so it's not shutting off when you run to get more flour. Nice look and stores easy but nice enough to just keep on the countertop.

Love the high capacity! Can use heavy mixer bowls and even pots and pans for weighing. Great Brod & Taylor quality, and at a price that's cheaper than scales with less features. Every baker needs a scale. This one is a great choice!

I love the accuracy and clean design. It's modern and easy to clean. It's easy to switch to different units of measurement. My previous scale was very complicated for no reason.

Finally replaced our old Oxo scale that served us well for many years, but this one is more compact, higher capacity, and has a great aesthetic, and the price is great!

The scale is beautiful, easy to read, and a dream to clean. It has the advantage of a much lower price tag and a much smaller footprint than the My Weigh. This is a great company, and this is the first of their products that has disappointed me. The original scale I received was defective, or so it seemed, and they were nice enough to replace it. The replacement works far better, but still has the same glitches-- only less dramatically. The main problem for me is that the scale fluctuates while what is being weighed just sits there. It just goes up and down a few grams (the one they replaced went up and down in tens of grams), and is never the weight that was originally displayed by the time I remove it. I've just accepted that it is not going to be that accurate, and maybe that's the problem with a digital scale. My old Salton gave up the ghost after 25+ years, but I never had an issue with it. I'm not a professional baker, and what I make for my family comes out fine, so I guess that, in the long run, it's adequate. I really don't know how many stars to give it, but at least three.

I was looking for an accurate scale and this is it. I'm extremely happy with it with the exception of the location of the power button. More than once I have brushed flour off the scale and at the same time brushed the power button which turned it off and I lost my weight. While using this scale you have to be super careful. I wish the button was located somewhere else.
