Broil King Regal Pellet 500 Pro Smoker, 58in.

purchased my Broil King from a local reputable dealer one year ago. Great after-purchase service. Have used it almost exclusively for smoking. Very little grilling so far. Unit performs to my expectations. Really enjoy the accompanying app to monitor and control temperature.

Purchased this in August of 2021 ... Chicken, Pork Ribs, and Brisket have been the primary foods prepared ... just acquired a Broil King Griddle for the preparation of Burgers this weekend ... so far really pleased with this smoker ...

VERY NICE PELLET GRILL. REALY ENJOY. THE SERVICE DERPARTMENT NEEDS A LOT OF HELP. HAVE ONE TEMPERATURE PROB THAT DOES NOT WORK AND CAN`T GET REPLACED.

Android App used to fairly well, then it was updated and now has not worked for months - Very disappointing... Grill temperature reads 50°c hotter than actual temp grill temp.

I bought this unit a year ago and I still can't get the Bluetooth feature to work properly and the temp probes are out of whack and can't get the to communicate with my phone. Not much point in having a Bluetooth feature if if doesn't work. Very disappointed in this product

Great machine when it works. Mine has trouble getting up to temp while trying to smoke at 225. Takes 30 minutes to get up to 140, then automatically goes into shutdown mode. Try unplugging to reset and restart but takes about 4 tries of doing this before it actually climbs to needed temp.

I bought this grill a few days ago. DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU EXPECT THE APP TO WORK. The app does not connect. I have spent hours on the phone with broil king and then the app developer. There were similar reviews but i figured bk would have updates to fix this stuff. The app is very amateur, first iot app ive ever seen with no connection settings. You cant even find a Mac address anywhere, no ip address, no signal strength, no ssid. To change networks as you try Hotspot and different routers necause they keep saying its a firewall you have to delete the grill and restart. Then you need to open your router admin to see if it connected. The app can change the grill from deg c to f but other buttons say its not connected to the internet... hmm so it read my mind I guess. No its connected just fine. It just doesnt work. That or the controller is faulty. Will try calling bk one more time before I return this.

I bought this 6 months ago and haven't been able to use it because the pellet auger keeps jamming! The warranty department is good though, just frustrating that it didn't work like new from the start but hopefully after I get the new auger motor, the problem will be fixed!

Its 2 years this summer that ive had my regal 400 pellet from when they first came out and i was excited but the welds inside the drum are detaching from the wall. A HUGE let down. Soon i wont be able to use it if a third welds goes. Well see how they handle the warranty.

I bought this smoker about 4 months ago. I cooked burgers on it twice and smoked a roast, and after that I couldn't get it to heat up. I called and they sent me a new hot rod, I put it in and nothing it would not get hot, just kept putting pellets in, I called and they sent me a new control panel and temperature sensor still nothing. I called again someone told me I was using the wrong pellets even though I tried telling them it wouldn't even light I'm sure that had nothing to do with the pellets. I bought new pellets nothing. Called again and am currently waiting for another hot rod. All they will do is replace parts, which would be great if it would work. I asked the last person I spoke with about trying to trace the voltage and they knew nothing, I'm ready to take it to the dump.
