I was impressed with the value of the capsules. I have a number of daily supplements and this was a welcome addition to them.
Taking this calcium supplement enabled the lab blood reports to increase calcium to normal limits.
My GI doctor recommends the Sacchoromyces boulardii probiotic and that for the probiotics to be useful in the system you need to take 40 billion CFU daily. Bronson is the only place I have been able to find this probiotic.
This supplement helps me with osteoporosis. At age 68 not all supplements agree with my stomach. I've been talking this product for 3 yrs and no adverse affects.
I bought the calcium and magnesium, and the Vitamin D for a handicapped friend of mine, plus some Vitamin C too. She has taken these for years and swears by them!
Received these Calcium pills on time and packaged very well. My wife likes taking these pills as per her doctor.
Wish they made soft chews but they work well smoothies.
I'm not sure about absorption because it's so much calcium in one four pill dose
I thought I had done my homework. and it appeared that price wise and quantity wise. this was the best of the three I was researching. but I must have got confused somewhere because this one requires two caplets in the morning and two in the afternoon. they are not small. doable, but not what I was looking for. With that said, that's me. Nothing's wrong with the product. I just don't want to take four capsules a day 🙂
How likely you are to develop osteoporosis depends partly on how much bone mass you attained in your youth. Peak bone mass is partly inherited and varies also by ethnic group. The higher your peak bone mass, the more bone you have "in the bank" and the less likely you are to develop osteoporosis as you age. Osteoporosis is more likely to occur in people who have: Low calcium intake. A lifelong lack of calcium plays a role in the development of osteoporosis. Low calcium intake contributes to diminished bone density, early bone loss and an increased risk of fractures.
