Brooks Men’s Cascadia 18 GTX Waterproof Mountain Trail Running Shoe - Blackened Pearl/Black/Tomato - 9 Medium

I bought these over 6 months ago and have allowed time for reasonable use before reviewing. I can now comfortably say that I am delighted with these, as they are not only at least as comfortable, if not more so, than previous versions but they are now much more durable, both in terms of the upper sealing/coating and the goretex waterproofing - both showing no signs of wear at all. Overall very happy with them.

These have been worn for around 150km now. Variety of trails including dry, dusty, gravelly and steep (25%); muddy and wet; firmer tracks too. I've found that I can trust the grip and support and that even over rocky ground the sole and support have been great- not once have my feet ached post a run. The fit I've found a little different to my old cascadia 16's. Slightly less room in the toe box and maybe a touch less arch support but my feet have settled into them without issue. The Gore Tex has been tested a few times in quite heavy downpours and has been very good, I'm pleased I got gtx version. Living in the sub tropics I think through wetter months it'll be well worth the extra. Overall I'm very happy with these, would highly recommend

Great fit and comfortable as! I use for them for hiking and golf in winter as there nice and waterproof!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was walking on the beach in my new Cascadia's at the weekend and a tiny wave washed over my shoes. The water beaded off because of the goretex finish. And my socks? My socks were dry.

I wore these shoes for a 2 day hike and they provided good grip and great comfort.

Amazing shoe for trail running cushioning works well however not as cushioned as a glycerine as expected, goretex waterproofs the shoe amazingly
