The person i bought it for suggests getting a thin pillow for the back as the pounding on the back was a little uncomfortable. Make sure you have a space near an outlet for it where you might want to leave it out all the time. its not the easiest to fold and put away.

Works exactly how I thought and it says. Typical massaging action. Smaller ball shaped parts that rotate and turn/circle on muscles. I like the vibration but boyfriend doesn't. That's just a personal preference. Has these buttons/choices on the remote….auto, vibration, heat, neck, back, speed. The heat works great. Gets warm but not too hot. Three speeds. It's easy to massage lower back, middle back, and upper back. Taller people, my bf is 6'1”, may find it difficult to massage neck at same time as back because their shoulders sit high. Chair is sturdy and can lay back in multiple positions or sit up in normal chair position. Bf is over 300 pounds and fits on the chair and inside arm rests as well as the laying back positions. So, chair will not break when used properly. Legs and frame made of metal. Arm rests are plastic but nothing to complain about. Seat is cushioned and comfortable. We've only had it about 2 weeks but we've used it a lot. So far, so good. As of now, great purchase as it does what it says it will do, it's sturdy, it has the strength needed to massage everyone including bigger/muscular men and those with weight. Another great thing is it comes out the box assembled. Open chair, plug into wall outlet, then sit and go!!! Some reasons for 4 stars vs 5 stars…….the vibration is only on seat not back, neck can be a little challenging for some people. But I believe that's the only things I can find to mention. And it's really not a problem at all but I'm trying to be very fair and call it how I see it. Overall, my opinion at the 2 week mark is that it's worth every cent and that it does exactly what it says it will do. It was a great Christmas present given to me.
