Brother COLOUR LASER MFC ALL I

this printer i use it in daily basis, is absolutely a peace of chocolate. cant recommend it enough. very reliable! the only thing that i dont like about it, is when i need to pull the prints out. i cant grab it with 2 fingers, i have to drag it out with my palm, cause the slot is too narrow. but not something to considers a negative comparing the the quality and reliability.

We don't use a colour printer too often and so our Epson Inkjet kept clogging up. Decided to upgrade to a colour laser and I am VERY impressed with this machine EXCEPT when printing colour photos. I tried three different grades of paper (including laser photo paper) and couldn't see much improvement. Shots are flat, not very sharp and kind of 'lifeless'. I gather this is a problem with all colour lasers, so I wasn't really surprised. That said, I think everything else is great (except the cost for the replacement colour cartridges are insane). It was easy to set up on our Macs/iPhones/iPad, is fast and quite quiet.

We, have several hundred copies behind us with this unit. It replaced a previous Brother MFC that had lots and lots of "miles" on it. We find this one warms up much more quickly. Other than the fax feature, we have used everything on the machine/. We find the touch screen display to be excellent. The L3770 is very quiet, and the footprint reflects new technology. I dropped it one star because for people with large hands getting the printed copy out of the machine can be frustrating. That said, if we could make one change to this machine, we would redesign the control board so it could be flipped up out of the way, to give more free access to the printed copies.

For the price of this printer I am a bit disappointed with the colour reproduction and print quality. Colours are dull and solids are streaky. Also scanner has issues scanning in text mode. Comes out garbled.

I have wasted so much toner and paper and time trying to fiddle with every setting to get a crisp, rich colour for my excel and office documents. The colour documents come out grainy with faded or not even close to actual colours. My old, hand me down HP deskjet does a better job. So disappointed.

We've had this printer for a year and have usually had good luck with brother printers. I'm beyond disappointed with this one. The brother ink cartridges are very expensive, so we make it work financially for our small business by buying the generic off-brand cartridges. These cartridges traditionally work great, and gave me the same printing quality of the brother cartridges. They worked fine with my last brother printer. However, with this printer, brother somehow fries the chips in the ink cartridges every time there is a power outage, or the printer turns off of if a system update is done. As we are located in a rural area, we experience power outages a lot. This means, each time the power goes off, we have to replace the ink cartridges, which is costing our business a lot of unnecessary money, not to mention it's environmentally irresponsible. I will be looking for a new printer and a new favorite printer brand!

Don't waste your money! I bought this machine and it worked great at first but after 2.5 years of occasional use it has stopped working. Now all is says on the screen is "Print unable 1E". I have taken it to two different local repair shops who cannot find anything wrong with it in order to even fix it and told me it was garbage. I have also called multiple other repair shops in larger city centres near me who won't even touch it/look at it! When you actually Google this error code, it appears to be a very common issue with Brother printers…. So the fact that the experts can't find a way/wont even attempt to fix it is completely infuriating!!!! This a a huge disappointment considering the price point of not only the printer it's self, but also the replacement ink cartridges!!! I have had other brands of laser printers that cost a lot less and lasted a lot longer than this did! If you are looking for a throw away printer… this is the one for you, otherwise save your hundreds of dollars and buy a different printer and brand that actually lasts!

How can the manufacturer be on here replying that they only recommend Original Brother Drum Kits and Toners when you don't even SELL the drum kits for this printer on your site????? 2. We used ONLY Brother cartridges for 2 years... and the printer is still useless! It prints "dirty" with smudges and black splotches at random intervels. The issue is this printer is horrible! Don't blame people for not using Brother replacements when you don't even have them for us to buy. Ridiclous. We've since switched AWAY from original brother toner and it's working better than the Original Stuff ever did for half the price! Wasn't going to drop that much money on the Brand Name toners when the printer still prints horribly. We are currently looking into a new printer, Just using up the last of the toner we have. I think we will try someone other than Brother. I miss our old Dell Printer.

Bought for less than 2 years and it no longer works. Spoke to Brother representative, did a bunch of testing and in the end their recommendation is for me to buy another one.

Very frustrated. Cannot print in black in white because my yellow toner cartridge is empty. Yesterday it warned me that the yellow cartridge was at 25% and today it's somehow empty after printing an 8 page document, so don't trust the levels it gives you when you check the toner life.
