Fast, responsive printer/easy setup

My son recommended a brother printer to me and I found one on your site. I had used a HP color ink jet printer in the past. I decided to mono chrome would be fine and that drove my selection of this brother printer. I really like the printer and it does a fine job for me.

Exactly what I needed
We have other Brother laser printers and they are workhorses...and still printing! We ordered this one because it has wireless printing and also has two-sided printing. The setup with our Macs was almost instant and was effortless. Brother scores again!

Great work-horse printer, easy to set up and cheap
Easy to set up the WiFi connectivity without attaching to a computer but rather directly entering info through the menu buttons and the single line LCD panel. Secondly, third party toner cartridges are really cheap (about $10-$15) for these printers.

Great purchase
You can't beat this printer for the price. I'm a student and needed a machine that prints when I push print. I first purchased an HP... could have thrown it into a wall. It was a nightmare. But this Brother printer was plugged in and 3 minutes later I was ready to print.

Good printer
The printer was well packaged and arrived in excellent condition. The instructions that are included with the printer are horrible, but there is a YouTube video for this printer that takes you step by step through the set-up process. It is clear and pretty simple to follow. The speed of the printer is fine for home use.

Good for the buck.
I like the printer it is fast, nice color not so loud. The complaint I have is the I've everyone has Ava is the sleep and it takes time to connect to WiFi. It s really frustrating that's my only complaint

Frustrating
The download CD which was sent with the printer didn't work, so I had to download from online Brother site for installation. I can't get the wifi light to quit blinking no matter what I do. But everything prints correctly. I don't like the lack of a keyboard for letters on the top of the printer very time consuming...
