Brother CS5055PRW Sewing Machine, Project Runway, 50 Built-in Stitches, LCD Display, 7 Included Feet

I love this machine!! How it stitches effortlessly through the material is amazing! I had an earlier version for 12 years and I worked it to death, poor thing but I feel I got a great machine that could put up with my hard core sewing. Yet here I am with this new version and every time I see it just takes my breath away! Now I did have a bit of frustration with the new way to thread and fill bobins, but its a good and much needed change. I hope to have this machine for years to come.

I've just begun to use my machine, but am already impressed by the smoothness of the stitching. Also, just love the auto needle threader!

Wow am obsessed with my project runway sewing machine, i have really used it on my wish-to-see-list, am only sewing lot and lot of face mask for homeless because of covid-19.... am glad I bought it.

When the pandemic hit, my old sewing machine decided that was the time to poop out on me and sewing machines were hard to find. Still are. I had been looking for a new sewing machine for months... But this machine was worth the wait. Runs so smooth and so easy to use. I was so excited to find this one and I love my new Brother CS5055prw Project Runway sewing machine!!!

This machine was recommended to us by a friend who is a REAL seamstress and new we needed something easy to use with our girls who are 9 and 12. We found the threading mechanism to be especially user friendly and the stitch options to be a lot of fun!

The sewing machine works well. I am a beginner sewer, so I can't give much detail. But so far so good. The sewing machine isn't as noisy as some and had runs smoothly.

Works great for light sewing. I thought it was a heavy duty which is why I bought it but it won't sew my patches on my military uniforms or my leather vest even with the correct needle and thread. Barely hemmed a pair of jeans very slowly.

i had the machine for about 5 yrs and it is a great machine for lite weight stuff but i ended up wearing it out to the point it no longer zig zags. i made over 4 doz fitted cloth diapers and THICK soakers (they were towels covered with flannel) it worked til i finished the diapers but now it will only do straight sewing - no zig zag if i try to do that it skips about half the stitches.

My daughter loved the sewing machine but delivery was not acceptable. I ordered it a week before my daughter's birthday and it took two weeks after for the delivery. I was misinformed as to when I was to received it. If I new it was taking this long, I would have purchased it somewhere else.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter, so I'm not sure how well the machine works. But I'm very dissatisfied with the packaging! I requested the GIFT option for delivery which includes packing in a Walmart box. It was delivered in the Brothers Sewing Machine box, clearly showing the contents inside. My granddaughter often retrieve deliveries for me and I wanted it to be a surprise.....
