Love this machine works great just wish it had more Disney Characters designs but love it

Okay I am brand new to embroidery machines but have been sewing for 65 years. This was so easy it was scary, I mean I was worried it would have a learning curve. I am a weaver, spinner, fiber artist. I literally only have to change the thread, the machine does everything!! It even knows where you left off if you accidently turn it off. Yesterday I ran out of bobbin thread and switched out mid design, wound a bobbin and it went right back and finished.

This brother machine having exclusive Disney designs gave me the push I needed to choose this machine. I have been a lifelong fan of Disney and love that this machine comes preloaded with Disney designs. This machine comes preloaded with 125 decorative designs 45 of them Disney. It also has a built in memory and USB port for uploading your own designs. This machine has so many great features it's hard to know where to begin. I guess I will start with the LCD Touch Screen. I love that it has built in tutorials on how to thread the machine. The 4x4 Embroidery Hoop is perfect for embroidering my everyday household items. I am very happy with this machine. I do believe that Brother could make this machine even better by adding a starter pack of stabilizer and thread to complete a starter project.

I'm sure it has been mentioned numerous times that this is an embroidery only machine. If you can only afford one machine, and you also want to do sewing, you might want to choose a combination machine like the SE600.

It is great for beginners, I consider myself crafty but this was my first time using an embroidery machine. My favorite feature is the needle and also the great selection of fonts and Disney options. The screen is easy to read and shows the design clearly.

Easy to use even if you're a first timer like me! I love making disney projects now! Comes with a lot of fun disney designs already installed. You can also use images from your phone and send it to the machine also which is a cook feature. Machine isn't loud like I thought it would be either. I love it!

I'm SO glad I took the plunge and tried this out. It's easy to program, easy to install the thread/bobbins, and I had NO idea embroidering could be so fun and easy! I can't wait to try out all sorts of things! I tried out a pre-programmed Disney character (Minnie Mouse) first, and everyone was highly impressed. What a great product and what a great thing, especially for people with kids. Can't wait to use it again and again and again! Highly recommended!

The product description states that it has "a USB port for uploading your own designs." What it does NOT state is that it requires separate purchase of software that you need to install and learn how to use. That revelation came after I had made the purchase and the product was received. I then had to process a return, which did not go smoothly.
