Brother Disney PE550D Embroidery Machine with Exclusive Bonus Bundle including Auto Digitizing Software and More

This brother machine having exclusive Disney designs gave me the push I needed to choose this machine. I have been a lifelong fan of Disney and love that this machine comes preloaded with Disney designs. This machine comes preloaded with 125 decorative designs 45 of them Disney. It also has a built in memory and USB port for uploading your own designs. This machine has so many great features it's hard to know where to begin. I guess I will start with the LCD Touch Screen. I love that it has built in tutorials on how to thread the machine. The 4x4 Embroidery Hoop is perfect for embroidering my everyday household items. I am very happy with this machine. I do believe that Brother could make this machine even better by adding a starter pack of stabilizer and thread to complete a starter project.

I by far am by any means an expert seamstress but I found the PE550D to be very easy to work with. I have had no issues threading the machine. The PE550D comes with 125 built in designs. 45 of the preloaded designs are Disney designs, making this perfect for the crafty Disney family. Really it has been a great addition to my crafting repertoire. I very highly recommend this amazing embroidery machine its simple to use and has amazing features like the huge display! Also with a Brother machine, you can bet it will be around for a long time!

This thing is absolutely loaded with the most coolest Disney designs - you can find something for nearly anyone in your life who loves Disney from princesses to heroes the possibilities are endless! I made tote bags, baby pajamas, headbands, quilts, wall hanging there was so much I was able to do with this machine! I am still craving all its features and I get more involved and set in the niche of things! I love the warranty it also comes with - this is such a nice machine - easy for a beginner / I can't rant & rave enough about it! To date I have 20 hours into this machine & cannot wait to keep these gifting items made from this year traditionally! Hands down my favorite crafting hobby! Addicted!

Okay I am brand new to embroidery machines but have been sewing for 65 years. This was so easy it was scary, I mean I was worried it would have a learning curve. I am a weaver, spinner, fiber artist. I literally only have to change the thread, the machine does everything!! It even knows where you left off if you accidently turn it off. Yesterday I ran out of bobbin thread and switched out mid design, wound a bobbin and it went right back and finished.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little entry-level embroidery machine for its intended purpose but I suggest you do some research to be sure this is the one that suits your needs. I'm sure it has been mentioned numerous times that this is an embroidery only machine. If you can only afford one machine, and you also want to do sewing, you might want to choose a combination machine like the SE600.

Easy to use even if you're a first timer like me! I love making disney projects now! Comes with a lot of fun disney designs already installed. You can also use images from your phone and send it to the machine also which is a cook feature. Machine isn't loud like I thought it would be either. I love it!

I didn't know where to start but after reading the instructions and seeing the instructions on the machine itself, its very user friendly. I love the digital display, it has so many beautiful designs to chose from. I also like how I can use my own designs by downloading them onto a flash drive and plugging it into the machine. The machine itself is not too big and easy for me to hook up. I especially love the automatic threader! There are so many things I want to make now! I have a two year old daughter so I can make her some cute shirts with Disney embroidered designs, designs on her pants, blankets, onesies for special occasions. The possibilities are endless with this embroidery machine! I highly recommend to anyone new looking for a fun hobby or to someone who's easones in embroidery!

The product description states that it has "a USB port for uploading your own designs." What it does NOT state is that it requires separate purchase of software that you need to install and learn how to use. That revelation came after I had made the purchase and the product was received. I then had to process a return, which did not go smoothly.
