Brother Genuine Drum Unit, DR221CL

I've learned my lesson buying knock-off replacement parts. Buying genuine parts for your expensive office equipment is worth the investment. My original drums lasted over 3 years. I wouldn't expect anything less from these as they are both genuine brother parts.

Sam's Club had a much better price than office supply stores. Fast & easy to order from the desk & have delivered right to the office.

It was all 4 pieces and authentic Brother brand. The packaging was great and arrived in perfect condition. I would purchase it again here.

The drums arrived with cyan toner on them, they were supposed to be new. I contacted the 3rd party seller, ON-SITE TONER, and they were very helpful and sent a replacement. However, the replacement had the same problem. They're checking with their supplier.

This product lasted fewer than 2000 pages printed despite a claimed lifespan of 15,000 pages. Getting support from Brother is impossibly time consuming. First try took over an hour of back and forth chat, then the agent terminated the chat with no record of the chat ever occurring. Second try was too time consuming and frustrating to be worth pursuing with no guarantee of resolution, as if Brother thinks that its customers' time has no value. This is my third Brother printer purchase, but it will also be my last.

Print bids, on average 12 pages... Drum set does not outlast two changes of toner... Machine cycle tells me that i have 3680 pages of life left with drums... I can't print, getting signal that i must clean corona wire. Bought this printer end of 1919 And i will change for Epson. Very disappointed with duty cycle of toner and drums.

The new drums should have resulted in better print quality but it was worse than the old drums they replaced. There is no way to contact brother support for. assistance. Total disaster, this crappy brother OEM part ruined my perfectly good printer.

Box had been previously opened. And all 4 drums had been previously removed from their factory sealed packages and then taped shut. So not sure if these are new or used drums. Definitely won't buy from this seller again.
