Brother Genuine Drum Unit, DR730, Yields Up to 12,000 Pages, Black

Better than those compatible one with this price. Will buy it again.

I just bought this drum unit today and have it in case down the road I have to replace my drum unit I have the spare in head already thank you brother for making best laser jet printers ever its Best to buy one in case cause you never know if there going be sold out or don't know when they be restock again also if ur printer still shows drum needs replace and you already put the new drum unit in go to YouTube and type replace drum unit it should tell u k after put new drum in and still show replace drum ur suppose to open door again and press clear when see drum on screen press 1 for yes and press ok then u should be good to go but check YouTube to be on safe side hope this advice helps everyone

Ease of installing and resetting the printer made this a 1 minute maintenance.

I purchased in November but did not install until March 31. It already has lines and toner all over the pages. I have bought genuine brothers drum from Staples for years and they have always lasted approximately 1 year and when they would come to the end of their life they did not leave lines or anything like this. This drum lasted less than 2 months. I have already had to purchase from Staples again. The Walmart price may appear less expensive but due to how long it lasted, it ended up costing me more. I would not recommend this product. I do not believe this is a genuine Brothers drum.

brother's website has to be the worst site I have every searched on, I just bought an all-in-one.They have the wrong toner cartridge in the box, there is no reference on the correct cartridge, searching there website they don't even have my purchase model number listed.

I bought this in March and we hardly print anything and it's still acts like it needs ink

Not working, not able to print. After installatio the error message states, REPLACE TONER CARTRIDGE

Complete different brand than what it is described, did not pay 60 buck to buy a knock off

Printer said drum needed to be replaced. Bought the above and now printer states drum needs to be replaced again! I will just keep printing until it stops then buy another brand that accurately states what needs to be done.

My Brother Monochrome Laser HLl2390DW laser printer came with this ink drum, from the factory. While the TN-730 says it is good for 1,200 pages, this DR-730 is advertised at producing a whopping 12,000 pages. After printing only approximately a hundred pages, my Brother printer abruptly ceased functioning and said I *have* to replace the cartridge. No "ink low" warning; no gradual decrease in quality going grey. It just stopped in the middle of an important print job.
