I have been purchasing generic toner cartridges but it's always a gamble. I have had print quality problems with 1 out of 3. I realized that in the long run, I'm spending more since I have to trash the poor quality one which were leaving black dots on each page. I purchased a laser printer several years ago. I was tired of what I considered overpaying for inkjet cartridges. I selected a Brother printer and have been very happy with it. I get a lot more copies for my money.

This was not a good purchase or experience unfortunately. The printer said the cartridge was empty when I inserted it from the get-go. I looked up a way to override that notification but the printing quality was the pits. Never have I had pages come out faded and this is all I got with this purchase. What is especially upsetting is that I bought the larger capacity cartridge and I didn't even get ten decent pages. Very disappointed. I have to go to the store to see what I can about this.

1 week after inserting this new cartridge (with maybe 50 pages printed), I'm getting replace toner cartridge message. I troubleshooted this error & it is correct, telling me to prepare a new cartridge, toner is low. What an absolute rip off this item was
