Brother HL-L2395DW Monochrome Laser All-in-One Printer

For the price, I have found the Brother, black, monochromatic print-scan-copy machine to be very dependable, nothing breaking or going wrong in the first Brother monochromatic I purchased some five years ago and still have, and now finding this second (and additional) one to so far be very dependable and easy to use. I don't have any need for a color printer because everything I do is related to my creative writing, just getting manuscripts printed out according to editorial requirements.

It connected to my Wi-Fi right away but after the first day it went offline, which my other printer did all the time and was the reason for this replacement. It came back online by itself the 2nd day and has worked ever since. Hoping it was a fluke and I don't have to keep messing with the connection. Overall it prints really well and has good speed.

Replacing eight-year-old brother monochrome printer. This is compatible with my AppleMac,. I've only had it a few days but so far it's really nice. Working just fine. Set up was easy… that's important. Hoping it will last as long as his older brother!

Prints, scans, does duplex printing and no more clogged inkjet print heads. Should have bought something like this years ago. Toner is EZ to change and available from many vendors. Great quality print jobs, and FAST. I would buy this again ... no regrets from me with this purchase!

Better to do wireless print setup first.allow time for full cycle to complete. It takes time especially if wireless is slow. Hard to switch from two sided print to one side print

Have went through 4 color ink jets. They don't seem to last long and use a lot of expensive color ink even though I rarely printed in color. The Brothers printer was easy to set up and prints good quality. Nice to have a paper tray that holds a lot of pages and, so far, has not had any paper jam issues. Still keep an ink jet off line for printing in color.

First off, the printer works great. It prints fast and very good quality. I gave this a 3 star rating based on the delivery. The printer was delivered 2 days after the promised delivery date. This was mainly due to the fact that the shipment sat at one location for a period of 4 days before it was delivered. The location where the printer sat was 4 hours from our home. It was not loaded into the truck to be brought to our location where we actually have a Walmart warehouse.

I have had my printer for 2 1/2 years now and used to always love using the app to scan documents easily. For the last six months the app does not even recognize my printer or my typical sign in and passcode. Frustrating. One of the main reasons I bought is now gone.

Instructions with printer were outdated (from 2017). The instructions said that a replacement toner cartridge came with the package. It did not. I called Brother and explained. They refused to consider. Also, flawed instructions made it very difficult to find the online manual for my printer. There should be a current, printed user manual in the package.

There is no human support at all . They send a list frequently asked questions and call that support. I have a couple of simple question and no answer. I am going to send it back as soon as I can get it packed up. Of all of my internet purchases this by far the worst George L Davis
