I really like this printer. I wanted a color laser printer because I don't do a lot of color printing and the ink cartridges kept drying up on me. When I would use my ink jet printer, it would go thru about a 2 minute cleaning process before I could print (and using up my ink). My laser printer is ready when I am. The only negative is the extremely high cost of Brother toner cartridges. I would recommend this printer for a home or small office.
This a great wireless printer. I don't print very often. I can go over a month with out the need to print anything. However, the the printer is always ready to print, I do t need to restart it or check the ink. It just prints.
Easy to set up (once you get it out of the box!) Quite heavy and hard to handle but once in place it's great. Very dependable
This was the only printer I could find available on the interner which met my needs and the price was OK.
For home office use, this is a good printer. The toner cartridges are pricier compared to my inkjet printer, but they last a LOT longer. It does print kind of slow, especially when printing on both sides, but we have not had any issues with it so far.
Until recently it was an awesome printer. At the present, regardless of the ink cartridge, it prints light and almost unintelligible. Help!
This printer was fine while it worked. The color quality is poor and inconsistent, but okay for office use. Unfortunately after two years it stopped working. Brother support said it needed repaired. They referred me to a third-party company and they said they don't do repairs. Now I have a dead printer and a bunch of spare printer cartridges. What a waste of money and environmental. I replaced it with a 20+ year old Xerox printer that still works.
My company purchased 3 of these printers less than 1 year ago. One was returned to the store within a week, one is constantly giving problems that can't be replicated when on the chat with Brother. The 3rd after 3 different chats with their reps they are replacing with a refurbished/used unit. The kicker is that they want you to keep all of the guts of the printer (toner cartridges, drum units, the belt unit and the waste toner box) - not sure what they are replacing and they couldn't answer that question at all. These printers are junk. Customer service isn't much better
I bought HL-L3270CDW Feb 2019. Couple of days ago brother software update message came up, I pressed it. Around 10 min. later, connection failure message popped up and machine is dead. It was working fine before until I pressed that message. (I also have extra toner for all color.) During update, connection was solid and I didn't touched at all. Now Customer service saying that they only can suggest small discount of new purchase as they don't have service center in GTA area. 1. Their update is very poor, it can cause you to buy new one. 2. Even their poor update broke your printer, you can not complain. Just have to buy a new one. 3. This printer doesn't have 'hard reset' function without normal working lcd screen. Not recommend to buy.
This product currently failed a month ago. I've had this printer for a few years and usage was very minimal. So minimal that I was still using the original starter toner that was supplied. The fuser failed. I reached out to customer service and the warranty has expired. Offered a discount on the same model or an equivalent. Did not take the offer with concerns of this happening again. May have had a lemon.
