Brother HL-L5210DN Business Monochrome Laser Printer with Duplex Printing and Networking

Brother makes good stuff at reasonable prices. I hope they don't do what HP does and require the use of their toner cartridges. I had a bad experience with another Brother printer for a home use. The printer similar to this one caused AFCI circuit breakers to trip. Brother's response: Have electrician check wiring. User's previous HP printer never caused this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a few prints from the monochrome laser printer. The setup was fairly simple. The steps are clearly labeled to get you setup quickly. The initial setup is also very simple. Navigating the software on the computer is 9/10 on being easy to use. I did not encounter any problems. You will need a printer cable if you plan to print directly from your computer. Overall it's an amazing printer that has great and fast printing and print quality.

The printer prints fast, quality of print out is great, easy setup, connects easy to computer devices and perfect for small business/office projects / art and school related projects that require more than your average basic home printer . Printer comes with cord, printer guides, and instructions. The printer is on the heavier side but definitely more durable. Another bonus is not having to go thru inkjet cartridges, printer utilizes toner cartridges.

It prints great quality black and white images and text. it printed a large document very quickly. Probably not good if you want to print photos since it is black and white.

the one time I wanted wireless Internet connection and it makes it impossible it's like it doesn't exist in the system can't even find the ssid

I can't get it to work properly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really hard to set up, I follow the instructions, restart everything but it didn't work. I download an app on my phone and it doesn't have this model. There is no option on the machine to “find network”. The only solution right now is connect with my computer via the USB cord. And it doesn't come with the machine. Also, my desk is small, I can't put the printer and computer together.
