Brother HL-L6300DW, Monochrome Laser Printer, Wireless, Duplex Printing, Cloud & Mobile Printing

Easy to unpack - very simple to assemble and install - instructions well laid out and easy to follow. Set up was a breeze. Consumables sensibly priced. In use its quiet, reliable and fast. I have used Brother printers exclusively for 8 years at home and work - quality product that does exactly what it should and at a fair price.

Good value for money and a very good printer. we now have 3 in our business. Excellent print quality equal to some more expensive printers, but with reliability included.

Cracking printer. Value for money . Just a good old work horse which is what we needed to cut cost on horrendous ink costs !!

Reliable printer with great printing speed. No issues with it whatsoever. Works well whether it is wired to our network or is connected over wifi.

Very happy with the Brother HL-L6300DW. Yhe only thing that I noticed is that went printing multiple pages, say 50, the printer pauses a lot to, as it seems "catch it's breath" which slows the printing speed. Never had that problem with the Brother HL-5470.

After a few seconds of contemplation, spits out print job very fast. Awkward envelope handling, After printer driver updated, the printer no longer automatically duplexes. Requires saving document as a pdf and picking the 2 sided option in that print screen. Annoying,

I love the fact that this printer is fast, and it prints darker text than my old printer (a different brand). Unfortunately, this printer has a problem when it is cold -- i.e., if it hasn't printed anything in a few hours. The first couple prints come out with toner across the top inch of the page. It looks like dirt. I tried wiping the drum, cleaning the fuser wire, and setting the driver to "Improve toner fixing", but no luck. I was hoping a firmware update would fix it by forcing the fuser to heat up a bit more before creating the first print, but the recent firmware update actually made the problem worse.
