Brother HL3170CDW Laser Printer 110V

Very happy with this purchase. The ability to print on both sides of the paper with such great quality is great. Best printer I've bought in years.

I bought this for replacement. A friend and I reviewed many possible replacements, and felt this one was best for my situation and was cost-effective in the long run. Set up was easy and effortless, and it is very nice having a wireless printer! I do not know about long-term costs .

I bought this at Sam's Club on line. I did a lot of research on printers. It turned out to be the best. It's a brother printer color laser printer. Sam's club had the best price. And brother printer has the best support. Plus warranty is great. Easy set up with DVD. Prints everything it says it does. The colors are perfect. I made a great choice. And will stand behind it. It's the HL-3170CDW. Brother printer.

I was wanting to replace an older color laser printer and decided to stay with the Brother line of printers. For me they have been more reliable and much less expensive to operate. This one with a wireless option so I can print from either iPhone or iPad has be fantastic.

I bought this printer about 4 years ago and use it primarily when I need color jobs, and as a backup printer for my other Brother Scan/Copy/Print machine. I works great, I like the double-side printing and the fast speed it prints. The quality is excellent and the colors are true. It's been well worth the money I paid for it as it's a great value.

Have been running a Brother HL-2070N for >10 years for originally academic career and subsequent lives. It was a fantastic wee black laser printer w/ wired networking. When I found the Brother HL-3170CDW on sale I was sold as it came with all the basics I needed, plus many more features, AND colour upgrade! Installed it and what GREAT support for Linux Brother provides! +999 for Linux Support! Printer is great, have printed duplex and all works superb.

Bought this printer to replace an older Brother printer that had made about 70000 pages. Love the print quality; pictures and maps are crisp and replacement ink is reasonably priced.

This is a fantastic little printer, works really well. Easy to set up and use. The only drawback is the duplexing. Every time I print double sided more than a few pages it gets a paper jam error. Sometimes there's no jam, in fact most times there's no jam. I open and close the back and it continues. It's annoying though when I send something wirelessly and go to retrieve it to see that I still have to wait. Otherwise, really great printer!

2 stars as when it works it is good, but simply every single time I go to print I have to go through an arduous connection process which culminates with me having to get the brother tech person to hop on my computer and install it for me. So it is literally faster for me to drive to staples and get a couple of pages. What gives?

If the price of this printer didn't vary many times a day and if the dealers didn't bait and switch using the lower prices "sorry, not available at this time" but could we help with your needs :) ? It sets me off against On-Line shopping when the web pages change AS you are ordering the item, both here and at my supplier.
