Brother LB5500 Combo Sewing and Embroidery Machine, Premium Sewing Thread 6-Pack Included

I took my year and a half old sewing machine in for repair again. I have always bought my sewing machines from the old school company. I was looking around the shop while they check my sewing machine out. I noticed a LB5500M at a very good price. I've wanted an a sewing machine that could do embroidery for sometime. I set it up at home and started sewing with it. It blew me away the features are fantastic but it's the way it feels that one me over. It's very intuitive to use, I seamlessly flow from one project to another. The quality is fantastic and ease of use is unbelievable. I wish I hadn't just purchased a serger made by the other company. I imagine it's just as intuitive and well built as my new machine. If your looking for a new machine I recommend going into your lock dealer and try one out.

I was skeptical to get the Star Wars version because I am not too familiar. with it but I think its really cool how its set up with pre-made designs. Idk why I never realized you could actually embroider by machine on your own too and not just by hand but after seeing some examples Im excited to use this more. It does come huge in a lot of packaging so that was kind of difficult to navigate at first but once you set it up its pretty neat. I recommend this version for Star Wars lovers but also just for those interested in getting more familiar with sewing and embroidery. The machine is really great quality and not too hard to familiarize yourself with.

It's the best of both worlds it's combination of sewing machine and simple embroidery are everything I was looking for! I have the Marvel Edition and I can't wait to go shop for some more color yarn to test out the included downloads. I also love that it's so simple to wirelessly download any design to the machine. I have so many other small designs I can't want to test out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using a model from the 90s, so this digital display was a big upgrade for me. For anyone wondering about the theming, the Star Wars decal is completely optional. It does not come installed, and they actually send you 3 different options. So if you see one of these on sale but you don't want a machine with decals- yeah. I haven't tried the embroidery function yet but I'm excited to figure it out!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's start off by saying I have never used a sewing machine in my life and my wife hasn't used one since high school. But after watching a few videos we quickly got the hang of it. This machine basically does everything on its own. We just had to thread the needle, which has the steps marked on the machine itself and it actually threads the needle itself with a press of a lever. We also had to thread the bobbin which is the thread used on the pack of the project. Then we simply had to download our design from the website, put it on a usb, and download it to the machine itself. The display is very handy for customizing any and all parts of your project. Being as it is a marvel machine we started with a marvel embroidery design. The display shows you everything from which color is next to how long each color will take to how long the total project will take. Then you just press the start button and it does all the work for you. For never having used a sewing machine this one made it very easy to learn and start doing an embroidery project effortlessly. When first unboxing, I will say that it is very daunting as there are a lot of pieces and parts included with the machine but the fact that basically everything you need to start is included is simply amazing. So far we have only tried the embroidery function but can't wait to try all the other features.

I am actually over the moon when I received it because I love designing and sewing. OMG this machine is so fancy there are a lot of things you can do in here like embroidery ,sewing its a 2 in 1 machine. It has a built in sewing stitches, fonts and designs. I'm actually still exploring on this machine, I've been watching tutorials to set up but it has also instruction guide that is easy to learn.It has a Smart color LCD touch screen display to preview and edits the design that is super cool. I would say that the quality is effective and highly durable. Plus its has automatic bobbin winding system which provides an evenly wound bobbin for a perfect and smooth sewing. My husband will definitely love this too. Again there so much to learn about this machine but it is useful and make my day productive . I highly recommend it.

I never knew how to sew.This is a blessing every household needs.it teaches you how to sew.Also it can be set wireless to sew for you. It is like a computer that does it for you. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression after unboxing was great. The smooth white body is very beautiful, not too heavy so it is easy to move. I can change between sewing and embroidery mode very easily, lightly and quickly. The device has a touch screen and can connect to wifi, which exceeds expectations. I feel like I can embroider the whole world with just this machine. Its price is actually a bit high but everything it brings is completely worth it. I really like this machine #Influenster#Brother

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mind is all over the place with this machine. It does so many different sewing patterns. It embroids and has the Marvel face plates to use. I was bummed it did not come with any thread or the paper used for embroiding. But as confusing as this is it is def something i will use and learn to love. It also comes with many extra things to use which i have no idea what or how but like i said i will get it together all in time.
