I like the extra capacity cartridges, and I'm glad you can replace one at a time, because yellow always seems to go first!
I always use genuine Brother ink cartridges to avoid problems later. Yellow ink was hard to find.

My Brother MFC-J6510DW printer uses LC75 series of cartridges. The optional LC79 cartridge outlasted the 75 by 4 times. Blacks are crisp and sharp, and dries quickly. Any one who counts the number of pages printed by a cartridge, should know, page counts are estimates based on a percentage of coverage of the page. Any reasonable person knows printing an all black picture will rapidly kill a cartridge versus a text only print out. That said, using this genuine manufacturer cartridge has never let me down.
Expiration date on the box is 6/2017. The expiration date is based on 2 yrs after manufacture so this ink cartridge is over 10 yrs old!
For a High-Yield Ink that's supposed to have a 2,400 Page Yield, this cartridge ran out after less than 1,500 pages. I'd say that 2,400 would be considered quite a bit of hyperbole on Brother's part, as this printer is Brand NEW (less than 6 months old) and this is now our third cartridge replacement, and NONE of them have gone over 1,500 pages, with the second cartridge dying after only 1,000 pages. We are not printing heavy graphics or even high end prints, just mostly business forms and in normal or draft mode. How these cartridges are running out so fast is a mystery...
