Brother MFC-L2740DW Laser Multifunction Printer, Monochrome, Duplex

Having struggled with inkjet printers from other manufacturers for years I took the plunge and bought a Brother laser printer. This printer is easy to setup, offers great connectivity working seamlessly with both Apple and Microsoft products and has lots of bonus features. The touch screen menus are clear and concise and it just sits on my wifi network ready to wake up and print whatever I want. I think this is probably one of the best products I have bought in recent years. Thoroughly recommended as it just works!

Using this printer for over 6 years, It is Flawless and used in a home copying several hundred PDF files for Antique Radio manuals and Schematics for technical repairs and alignments. Brother MFC-L-2740DW

Easy install and flawless wireless connection. You can't hear the price! The only con I would say is it could print/scan pages faster.

I bought this to replace an Epson ink jet printer which broke and I was told not to repair it. It was a piece of junk anyway. I'm hopeful that this being a laser printer and also a Brother that it will perform better and longer. I have a HP laser printer which has served me well for several years now with no problems. Also these use less toner and the cartridges have to be replaced much less often that the laser cartridge.

Previously, I had always bought and used a "All in One" inkjet printer. My wife's office had a Brother Laser printer that they used for writing checks. So when my "competing brand" inkjet crashed, she convinced me to buy and try a Brother. I bought a Wireless all-in-one MFCL2740DW this past Summer and I am glad that I did. So far I am very pleased with its performance on my Windows 10 computer. I did have a little trouble understanding limited instructions for installing the printer software on a MAC computer.

After years of have a Brother Inkjet MIC, I decided to switch to this printer because I liked the idea of the printer taking care of duplex printing. A bonus is that I can print direct from Android and an iPhone. No complaints so far.....but then I'm not expecting ant.

Better than my last Brother multifunctional machine, except cannot get this one to function with my downstairs answering machine, which is on the same telephone line. When you have the distinctive ring feature switched on you cannot select fax/telephone mode. Somewhat disappointing.

Double sided print, scan and copy function. So far meeting the expectations. Using scan facility through WiFi is cumbersome. Have to use cable to scan the documents. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!!!!!! I gave it 1 star becaus it wouldn't let me give it 0 stars. I got a replace toner cartridge message so I replaced the toner cartridge. It worked for maybe 60 sheets than I got a replace toner catridge message. Okay, so I got a bad cartridge and I replaced again. Even with the second new cartridge it will now not let me print anything. Totally disgusted!!!!!!!
