Brother MFC-L6800DW Wireless Monochrome All-In-One Laser Printer, Copy/Fax/Print/Scan

this machine replaced a Brother machine that we had used for 14 years and proved to be one very awesome work horse. this new machine takes some getting used to as i am not the brightest spark with new technology. having cut our teethe with it we find it even more awesome than the machine it replaced. the product is perfection the speed is mind boggling it works perfectly with my macbook pro. it does all i desire and more. cannot speak adequately well enough about it but most heartily commend this machine to others. if it lasts as long as its predecessor, surely you have made the PERFECT copy machine!!!!

Bought this to replace a very aged Brother MFC8840D. Well packed with minimal packaging to dispose of. Easy to follow 'quick setup' instructions. Drivers and helpful installation videos easily found on Brother website. Very compact design with neat footprint. The easy and problem free network installation put a big smile on my face - I'm not in any way a techie. It is so much faster, crisper and all-round better than the one it replaced I wish we'd changed sooner. Highly recommended.

Had a great deal on this printer and am very happy with the product. Prints both sides of the page and scans multiple documents with ease. Economical to run as it only prints in black and white as we didn't need a colour printer. I would definelty recommend this printer, you can print easily from your phone, tablet or even e-mail a document from the printer to your computer. It is very easy to set up and has worked well using wifi.

easy to connect and share with other network users - air prints direct from iPhones and easy to operate. still quite new so will have to see how it holds up but last Brother printer did 5 years so expecting a good return on this one - the £100 cashback is just a bonus on what is already a reasonably priced printer.

We replaced a very expensive leased Canon with this printer. The monthly capital cost + consumables is about 20% the cost of the lease. Even if I have to replace this printer in a year, it will still be less than the leased machine. And, I'm locking myself into a multi-year lease.

I bought this print about 3 weeks ago and I love it. It's fast and holds alot of paper in the paper tray which I love!

Absolute workhorse. Everyday reliability. Super high quality. Unmatched value. I'd buy Brother equipment any time. The 6800 is there for me every day. Never a network problem (such as I've had with two other competing brands.) I give this equipment the highest recommendation!

I have had this unit under a year and the "Auto Select" function under paper source has never worked. I have to change manually change it to MP Tray every time I want to print from that tray. I have 2 Brother MFC-8890DW printers and they both allow auto select to the MP Tray. With these older machines I just drop the MP Tray and load paper and it prints. I am guessing that the sensor is bad on this machine. I have used the Brother MFC-L69800DW software to try to adjust this as well as the menu options on the printer to no avail. For as much as I paid for this unit, it is a disappointment. I can't afford the down time to ship it back to the Manufacturer for Warranty Claim.
