Up to 18 mm tape supported
The widest taper this model supports is 18mm. otherwise this is a really good label maker. The variety of tape widths this model supports makes it very versatile.

Excellent Inexpensive But Capable Label Printer
This is a slightly different model of a P-Touch printer I already own and use. This model has a manual tape cutter and uses label tapes up to ¾ inch width; my other label maker has an automatic cutter and can print 1 inch tape. Otherwise the printers are equal. I have the printer wired to my computer using the enclosed cable so I can design labels from my desktop and send them directly to the printer. Brother software for the label maker is included and easy to use. I use and recommend this label printer. So much so, in fact, that I bought this second label maker so I would have one handy upstairs and downstairs in my home.

Excellent mix of features.
The p-touch is the perfect combination of human input keys, Bluetooth connectivity with a usb c port. No matter what environment I'm in, I can create appropriate labeling.

Versatile workhorse
I love this label maker. I have used the app almost exclusively because you can add images - this allows me to use pictures of different fonts. With that I will say, it is pretty bulky - I wish it was smaller. I also wish there was a rechargeable battery so I could be able to move around with it. The ability to add fonts online would also be great.

Way to big for my needs
Bought this as a replacement to the PT-1290 and it's way bigger and not as intuitive to work with. So sad my PT-1290 broke it really was the best. Simple option design and not bulky at all. This new one is a pain to get out every time I want to print something. And take so much place at the office...
