Brother P-Touch PT-H300LI Rechargeable, Take-It-Anywhere Label Maker

Little bit bigger than I expected but easy to use, labels print nice and clear and offer a variety of fonts and layouts. Helped me get all my storage boxes in the garage organized. Next project is the toy room!

Has a tremendous amount of functionality and versatility in such a small package. The fact that you can use either AA batteries or a Lithium battery makes it even more useful. The only drawback I have with the unit is the size of the unit and the location of the cut lever relative to my hand size. Other than that little problem the unit performs quite well. A variety of tapes are also available for the unit .... but they do seem to be rather expensive ($19-$20 per tape).

At a great price it is loaded with great features for my home office. This unit is very user user friendly. I purchased the model that includes a rechargeable battery and the wall charger for it. I am very happy with it and highly recommend it.

Size is bit larger than I thought, but people who have bigger hand then it's very compy. It has back lite which is plus. Refills are so much cheaper on line purchase, and the way of lay out function keys are simply to use. Unfortunately it doesn't support pc print out, and also AA battery operated (but lithium battery and power cord can be optional). Overall, it's been great purchase for me, and I'm very happy with it.

Simple, easy and portable is what this Brother machine provides and is exactly what I need it for!

While with time I will, more than likely, become more satisfied with my PT H-300 mostly by trial and error. The users manual could have been better organized. It also needs a much more detailed index for fast look ups. Due to this trial and error method of learning the label maker IT SHOULD come with more than one label tape cartridge. I have already used up the one that came with the machine....short tape length???

Batteries inserted properly; tape fee looks OK; Power button does nothing (neither on or off); display not lit up. Am very discouraged! What should I do?

This label printer works okay, but the cartridge design is terrible. It prints more than 1 inch of blank label before the text. There's no way to fix this. You'll have to carry a pair of scissors with you to cut the blank label off every time. Not good at all. We're going back to Dymo, as they don't have this issue with their printer design.
