Brother PE800 Computerized Embroidery Sewing Machine with Grand Slam Package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never used as much as even a regular sewing machine before so I was a bit intimidated at first. But I went online and watched several unboxing videos and how to's on the Brother PE800. After reading the manual and carefully taking my time to set up the machine I was excited to try my first try at embroidery. I first did a short name "Papa". It was easy to follow the prompts on the screen and watching all the hard work of assembling the unit come together was both fun and exciting for me and the kids. It took less than five minutes and it was done. It was perfect! We couldn't wait to do another one. My son picked a lizard as he called it. so we quickly started on that next. Again in less than five minutes we had an adorable little lizard with cute little detailed toes. We did them in the white thread that was included on some black material we had laying around (pictures included) the detail is amazing and we can not wait to see what else we can make when we get the thread we ordering in an array of colors. If you are looking for an embroidery machine and think you don't even know how to sew ( like I thought) don't hesitate this machine is awesome and you will love it! I will be and have been recommending the Brother PE800 to all my friends and family.

The PE800 by Brother makes me regret not getting into this craft sooner! Although it comes with PLENTY of bells and whistles, it's still easy for me to use as a beginner. The screen on the side of the machine even shows tutorials on how to operate the machine! How cool is that? The embroidery area is pretty big at 5"x7", which allows me to embroider all types of items with really detailed patterns. Speaking of patterns, the PE800 comes pre-loaded with 11 fonts and more than 100 designs. You can also find designs online and load them onto your machine via the USB port. You can use the machine's touch screen to preview and edit your designs before stitching. This embroidery machine is just so user-friendly. They even thought to equip it with an automatic needle threader. I can't wait to get more experience so I can see what else this machine can do!

Just added the PE800 as our 4th Brother machine in our embroidery business. What a workhorse this machine is !! Right out of the box and it was ready to go. LOVE the color screen and on screen editing features this machine has it makes our customizing a design so much easier. It's fast , it's accurate and does perfect work.. If you have a small business or just want an easy to learn dependable machine for home hobby the PE 800 will fit the bill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely in love with my Brother embroidery machine. It is by far the best embroidery machine at/around this price point. For those who are considering the Brother machine with the 4"x4" embroidery area (as I did), you should really save up for this one instead. Just like any new hobby or skill you are trying to acquire, you will not be an embroidery master on your first try... and the only thing a prior background in sewing helps is for threading, which is easy anyway. For any of those who experience problems with the machine -- it's not the machine's fault but rather user error is more likely. I purchased my first PE800 in February 2020. I enjoyed it so much and used it so much that I bought an additional PE800 in April of 2020. I have now also added a Brother PRS100 to my collection. The Brother PE800 is a GREAT DEAL considering the price point.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Brother PE800 Embroidery Machine! This is the very first embroidery machine I have owned. It was so easy to learn how to operate with just the manual, I learned all on my own! The embroidery area is a good size, 5"X7". My favorite things about it are the large color touch screen and the amount of designs and fonts that come already on the machine. The first thing I made was customized onesies for my sisters new baby, they turned out great!

I see from some of the comments that they haven't had a good experience. I would suggest that these people watch some YouTube videos. There are all types of videos to help with every situation. I have had absolutely no issues with my machine. In fact, I love it so much that I bought a Brother PR655!

Up until this machine, I thought a sewing machine was just that- a sewing machine. Boy was I wrong. The stitching is awesome and extremely professional looking. A-1!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first embroidery machine and the manual that Brother included has been EXTREMELY helpful for getting everything up and running. The machine itself is wonderful and relatively easy to use, once you learn how to set everything up. It comes preloaded with dozens of designs and the touch screen makes it easy to orient and size designs on your fabric. The USB feature makes it easy to transfer designs right to the machine without the hassle of first connecting it to a computer. I have used this machine for several small projects and can't wait to continue with it!
