Bought one for our warehouse then bought another for the office. Compact and ideal for quick easy labels. Have even managed to import our logo when we were advised by another printer sales that this would be impossible without spending £100's. Ideal for small/medium business use whatever you are doing. Plug and play or download programme for more detailed labels. Easy to understand.
I was a bit wary of buying this printer as the specs seemed too good to be true. I spent some time trying to get it installed on my windows 7 then tried windows 10 and went without a hitch. It is all it is claimed to be. Easy to understand artwork, fast and great colours, I tried to smudge the print but was impressed it did not budge. The included artwork is impressive also and easy to setup and print. The footprint is small and compact and will suit any busy office. For the price it is unbelievable, I would recommend it to anyone
Bought this label printer for our small home-based craft business as pervious bubble jet printer (other manufacturer) had packed up. Very impressed by the easy set up, very good options on software, wide choise of lables that fit the QL-800 and how quickly and smoothly it prints! Now also being used for volunteer projects and with household uses.
I was keen to replace an existing label printer and was intrigued by the ability to print black and red labels. I didn't want or need the cost and expense of a full colour printer. The printer is a little bulkier than I'd expected - but then it can cope with some pretty large labels. Getting up and running was quick and easy and the P-Touch Editor software makes it easy to access the features. One of the things I love about the software is the ability to check the media in the printer. No longer do I need to open the printer up to check which label type is loaded. A small touch, but a very useful one. I've been impressed by the speed and print quality of this printer and would definitely recommend it.
Being self employed and sending out orders this is perfect for labeling my parcels. No costly ink cartridges just plug in to my laptop and go. Would have been good if I could have used it wirelessly with the app on my phone but ho hum you can't have everything x
I received the product very quickly from Order. Easy set-up to a Mac and I was printing in no time at all. Next step is to find my various label needs and change the cartridge as required. I would recommend the printer to address your labelling needs.
Perfect to print labels quickly for our samples. The 2 colour feature is good to highlight the colour name.
Love the QL800, after using DYMO for years this is totally a breath of fresh. Never have I had any printer print so fast and acurrately. Is nice to be apply to print spreadsheets from Excel along with individual labels.
The bundled label software is adequate, if a little ideosyncratic in the way it formats imported fields. However, the greatest drawback is that MS Office integration only works with 32-bit Windows. If you have a 64-bit machine, Brother don't want your custom. And since many new PCs are now shipped with 64-bit Windows as standard, Brother label printers are not for you..
Instructions could be made a lot easier, you have to work lots of things out yourself. It is the worst product I have bought for instructions on how to use. No I would not buy again and I wouldn't recommend anyone else too!
