So happy I was able to print off my address labels for Xmas cards.
I purchased this printer because he printer I had was playing up
I wanted a small label printer which could print out single labels neatly and quickly. Printer Base recommend the QL700. It was quick and easy to set up. I am in the jewellery business and we need to be able to attach small labels to ring boxes etc.. I like to use labels approx 50 x 29mm with about 5 lines of print, detailing the gold quality, diamond size and price. I can even attach our shop branding/logo, its just brillaint. The QL700 is ideal for this application, it is quick and easy to use and the labels look so much nicer than even the best handwriting, and the print doesn't fade like ink, in our window display. I would recommend this little printer to anyone wanting to print off single or multiple labels
This label printer is ideal for producing quick labels from anything. One of the beauties of it is that it comes complete with it's own onboard software if you don't want to install it to print a quick label off. If you install it as a native printer then the print speed is pretty much instant. We use it to print registration badges which it is ideal for due to it's speed and clarity of the printed image; it's not just limited to address labels. My only downside is the cost of the media (but there are alternatives!!)
This is a great little printer. Ideal for anyone who sends letters and parcels. It saves so much time by not having to write out addresses. It is also very fast and produces lovely clear, legible labels. There is also an extensive range of labels available to cater for all needs. These are also of a reasonable value considering that most are on reels of 30m+. In summary an excellent little device that saves a lot of time and produces professional results.
I bought this to replace my QL570 as it wasn't compatible with my new computer, great upgrade with plenty new features most of which i probably won't use 😄
Great product and good value for money. P lite didn't work, so had to install p-touch 5.2 software and some drivers. Took some time but now working. But all in all a great product.
Hard to set up and get this printer running, if you are not very good with computers you will struggle to install the software and get something to print. I would not buy it again
I have the strange experience of being an avid fan of the QL-700 to pulling my hair out. I grew instantly dependant on this little marvel. however that was before I upgraded to Windows 10 when the machine refused to cooperate. i spent many hours working with the issue thinking it to be solvable because i overlooked something. turns out i didn't Brother did. they didn't future proof this product. it works on my Mac but everything is manual so there is no efficiency that pc users can enjoy. when i print labels it works best if the machine does the thinking for me... different if printing every day but i am an occasional user and want my files and folders looking well and organised. this was the perfect 10 product, its now a dud. as if to add injury to insult, i convinced myself that brother would have solved it in the last year so i bought a replacement GL700 yesterday to go with my new pc i got for Christmas... i was wrong, nothing has changed. its still a dud.
I have purchased 4x QL700 for a production application, having previously bought a QL 560 and QL570. The clarity of the QL700 output is much lower - we use this printer to generate small 2D barcodes, which can be scanned with cameraphone products. We are unhappy with the QL700 output and find the iphone struggles to read the barcodes. When the iphone scans the barcode on the QL570 output, it reads first time.
