Brother RSE425, Used Sewing and Embroidery Machine

I have been sewing for years now and wanted to try a new embroidery machine. My husband purchased this for me and I couldn't be happier with it! I use this machine all the time (several times a week). I love how simple it was to learn and how simple it is to use both the sewing features and the embroidery features. The manual walks you through everything, from sewing different fabrics to making buttonholes to embroidery. Plus, the customer service is fantastic! The one year warranty helped when I had a small issue with the machine not sewing correctly. I called Brother and they found a service rep for me very close to home. All that was wrong was a small screw had come loose but was deep inside the machine where I couldn't see it. Brother covered the cost of the repair and I had my machine back the next day! Overall, I would highly recommend this machine to anyone, from the beginner to the avid sewer.

The price is fantastic and the performance and durability is good. Finally could afford one for my wife.

Very easy to set up, even the instruction manual was easy to follow. Easy to use and,so far, has given great results. It's even easier to use than our CE1100. Definitely well worth the money.

I cannot say enough about this machine! I have several machines and Industrial machines, but this powerhouse is amazing!!!!! It is by far my favorite machine now!!! The stitch quality is beautiful and the learning curve was not difficult. I am having way too much fun embroidering. Brothers by far is my go to sewing machine and Serger.

I purchased this Brothers se425 sewing/embroidery machine 6 1/2 years ago. I have purchased every presser foot that is available for this machine. I love it!! (I still use my 31 yr. old Kenmore when I have special things running on the Brothers). I used to have a Brothers from the 70's but we have moved so much that I think it was left somewhere, I don't know. I love everything Brothers! When I bought the serger foot (overlock) I was so happy that I didn't have to invest in a serger machine. But if I had to, it would be a Brothers for sure!❤️

I'm not familiar yet with this machine had trouble winding the bobbin even though I thought I had read the Instructions carefully. It is a beautiful machine and am anxious to learn and use it!!!

So far I love this amazing machine. But I have only had it for a few weeks, that's why only the four stars. It seems remarkable, but I haven't tried the embroidery aspect yet.

I have used this sewing machine to embroider and sew. It works well - I just need to learn how to adjust the font size. I think I need a ten year old to help me!

I haven't used it much yet but have noticed it is heavier than my Brother sewing and quilting machine.

Two starts because the machine arrived on time and works. However, the box was missing several accessories and, more importantly, the quick thread lever broke off on the second day of use.
