Great sewing machine. I have not tried to embroidery yet. But I am looking forward to it. I tried to register my new machine and was not able to on the brother web site. So I called customer support and someone was very helpful in getting it registered.

only thing is having to pay for the app.and.various designs. maybe I can download and USB them, gotta do more research

Machine embroiders very well and sews well. Really love it. The only thing I feel that could be improved is the mechanical noises it makes. Also, make sure the manual is read throughly and keep the manual near when sewing and embroidering. I love the Design Data Transfer. Works very well.

My experience with this machine has been good. The part I don't like is the threading of the machine to sew. I don't like the putting the thread through the wire then through the two different places that hold the thread so you can put the thread through the needle.

I'm extremely happy with my purchase of the Brother SE2000. The manual and online support are incredible resources to help users make the most of the machine's capabilities. The machine runs beautifully and has an extensive list of features that make it a smooth ride (cutting jump stitches, needle threader, digital display with guidance if needed, etc). One note is that the wireless LAN function for transferring embroidery files is only compatible with windows systems - Mac users will need a usb flash drive.

Wow! This machine offers so many "extras" and upgrades that make sewing so much fun! The guide books and online video clips make learning all about this machine simple. I think my 10 year old has officially spent more time on the machine than I have! One of my favorite features is the adjustable speed and simple start/pause button that makes consistent stitching for even a very beginner. I am excited to combine embroidery stitches into some basic projects and dive further into the full embroidery function.

Direction for use could be more specific and clearer. Plenty of videos online to clear up any questions. Definitely not a machine for a beginner.

Jam easily. You have to purchase extra apps to either adjust designs to enlarge or downsize your design. Was not aware you had to do this when purchased returned it to Walmart.
