Brother SM1704 17-Stitch Free Arm Sewing Machine and A Hard Case for Carrying and Storage

I purchased this for my soon to be 10 year old daughter. she is a beginner at sewing and this machine is perfect and simple enough for new sewers. It has many functions qnd she absolutely loves it! we both hope to learn embroidery as well. Great purchase along with the case!

People buy much more expensive machines, but this is so good and basic and rates very very well. My family has more than one of these machines and are extremely happy with it. The price is excellent. The qualities is excellent and it's lasting a long time and really does the job

My old machine broke in the middle of a big church project. This is light weight and similar to my previous brother machine. Instruction manual could be easier to use. Am still looking for repair person to fix my other machine.

It's a lightweight and easy to use machine, not bad to deal with day to day needs in every home. it worth the money and so far we have no disappointment.

I had a 23 year old Kenmore and this is a dream compared to that. The drop in bobbin is amazing and so simple. It sews so smoothly and easily. The only negative I have is I struggle every time in sliding open the bobbin cover. It does not just slide forward as the directions show. I have to struggle with it and that is such a hassle. Don't see the need for the flower decoration on it, but doesn't effect it one way or the other, but would prefer just a solid white machine.

This machine is made of cheap plastic I've sown twice and all it is already making rats nest the little thing that they give you as a screw driver is a joke so I'm not taking it to be looked at. I just got it. I am upset.
