We love Brown Bear! My nephew loves his book it's his favorite and I lost count on how many books I've purchased for gifts.

I read this book to my 9 month old daughter every night. The story and the pictures keep her interested.

This is an ERIC CARLE classic. The rhyming is wonderful, and the kids absolutely want it read and re-read. DO NOT MISS this book especially this edition. Enjoy reading with your children. They are never too young to be read to.....while in the womb and after and always. REMEMBER, kids who read succeed!

This is a book that I already had at school and wanted to buy for my 3 year old grandson! My kids 0-5 years at school love this book! It's a great tool for a speech therapist as myself wanting to get more verbal output using repetition, learning colors and even learning to recognize words! The little sliding window gives kids a role in the story telling and keeps them interested!

The book has the sliding doors with hidden things for the small child to find, was purchased as 1 of the baby shower gifts. Our book survived to grandchildren, who loved it, very sturdy, survives destructive little ones. Fun to read and teach to seek and open the little doors on their own, a grandparent's or parents delight. Careful there is a version that doesn't have the hidden doors, we have both, the hidden doors is well worth the money and time to search and find!

What I love about this book is that the pictures are easy to slide and they don't get stuck. These books are for my 14 month old and he can slide the pictures no problem. He got some other ones for Christmas that are too difficult to slide and they just frustrate him and turn him off from reading time. This one was perfect!

I use this book with my children in Early Intervention. It keeps them engaged, encourages labeling and never fails to delight each and every one of them!

My daughter loves this book! She is almost 18 months. She is always bringing it to me to read to her. She loves pushing the slides to see what's under them. Even makes some of the animals sounds. It's a very cute book. I would recommend it!

My grandson loves this book! Inter-active and teaches children to love to read! My grandson slides the windows to see the surprise animal behind the window! He loves it, smiles and grins!!

My grand girls (age 18 months and 5 years) both love this book. The older oone reads to the younger and then helpps her slide open the covers to show the animal that is hiding. Wonderful illustrations. Easy to read pages.
