Great CB Antenna

cant beat it ,for the price
installed it drivers side mirror mount, before heading to Billings MT. from Tacoma WA,,,,at first sight I liked the heavy coil section but found the whip to be a lil frail ,like that of the Wilson 2000, but onward,,its a good looking antenna, the build is well made compared to those similar looking antennas in the truck stops,,,, So as I going down the Road, I don't hear anything, after not changing anything on my radio,a SR-497HPC, a meter test SWR at 1.1 to 1.2,,so I wasn't sure what the problem was, after about 7 hrs of driving and channel checkin with no response I noticed my RX was turned up all the way out when I started hearing skip from Iowa,Florida,Mississippi?????? so I dail my rx down a bit,and started catching local distance ,I got a trucker a mile a head of me,who I talked to until Missoula,where I called it aday,,,when I took th 96 exit I saying my farwells and I got a few shouts from some rigs at the truck stop,that sais they've been hearing me for the last 20 minutes and the other trucker for the last 5,,,,,,,yep I'm happy ,,everybody says II'm pushin the meter and sounding good

Piece of amphibian junk
This antenna in now way will do 10000w it would be luck if it handled 1/2 w max. Also very flimsy looking and built
