These were a gift for a dear friend in Detroit who is having difficulty with the cold weather. Since they are the only gloves approved by the Arthritis people, I figured they would be good. She put them on immediately and called me saying she LOVED them!!
These were recommended by a hand therapist for my teen who has hypermobile EDS. They chose the gray and I chose the black. See the pic to see the compression. Note that the compression is not painful and the pic (if you can see it) shows how much swelling is present for me in less than two hours of wearing the gloves. It's like getting a gentle hug. For me, I can definitely feel the improved difference while using my laptop or driving. Tip: wash in some vinegar and natural detergent and DO NOT put in the dryer. They must air dry to keep the compression.
Genuinely worth the price. I've tried others, including the copper compression gloves and these are the best If you get the right size, the compression on the knuckles is such a relief. I got a size small because my fingers are long but slim and it's pretty much perfect. The only downside is the length of the fingers doesn't cover my last set of knuckles, I'm sure If I order a medium, I'll find the fingers are longer, but I'm really not willing to sacrifice the compression everywhere else. This glove covers all the way over the wrist too, and I'm so grateful for that when my wrists are also aching. The material feels like a good cotton t-shirt and isn't as slippery as some other materials; It's very warm and comfortable. I got a pair a few years ago, and last year I wore them on a day when I hand-tied over a 100 balloons. I had hardly any pain after hours of repetitive, dexterity-intensive movement! Unfortunately, they acquired a funky smell from the chemicals on the balloons, and it won't seem to wash out. I've kept those as my "messy work" gloves for things like painting and ordered a 2nd pair for wearing out. I recommend washing in cold water and not putting them in the dryer. 10/10 Would buy again :D
Got these for my sister who has arthritis in her hands. She loves the compression and helps relieve some of the pain.
These gloves are awesome!
It helps with the pain on my hands at night
This product is just okay. I had a bad RA flare in my wrist and was hoping for some compression and support. I did not find this product helpful for my experience. Some parts of the gloves were tight while others were too loose.
