BrylaneHome 3 Piece Cast Iron Skillet Set

Nice size skillets in this set. I come from a family of excellent cooks and cast iron skillets were always at family gatherings, whether they had fried potatoes and onions, a mixture of seasoned vegetables, fried chicken, or cornbread in them, they were staples in our family. I got this set for my daughter who just started having her own family dinners, she will love them!

We use these on our grill or on our propane stove. We do not use on our glass stove top b/c of the weight. They go from stove to oven and are great for just about anything we want to cook outside.

I yam just thrilled with these 3 Pans. I remember growing up with these pans My mother had all sizes. They bring back old good memories. I highly recommend them

This pan set is the same as my dad uses, and we had them for years, he taught us how to care for them, i am looking forward to years of use, thank you.

Starting my cast iron collection....I cooked corn bread and it tastes much better warm from the pan!

Good quality cast iron skillets. Just what I expected. Heats very well and distributes the heat very well.

Good heavy skillets but they rust way more easily than my old ones. I washed one and stuck it in the dish drainer while I was washing some other items. I forgot about drying it for a little while and when I came back the bottom of the pan was completely rusted. Very disappointed.

I gave this 3-pc cast iron skillet set 3 stars only because I got it for a screaming good price. The overall quality is what I consider merely acceptable. The skillets do have a good weight to them. (weight improves thermal mass, even heating & good heat retention) What I greatly dislike about them is the fact that the interior of all 3 skillets is VERY rough. That might not be a problem with steaks but you'll never fry an egg & get it out in one piece, it will stick like crazy no matter how well seasoned the skillet is. I am going to need to sand the entire interior of all the skillets to a smoother finish before seasoning them in order to have a usable set of skillets. I'm hoping to borrow an orbital sander because I know it's going to take a lot of sanding to achieve my goal. I'm not even trying for a perfectly smooth finish, just one that is smoother than they are now. Other than that, I'm fairly pleased with this purchase.

Awful. Food sticks to the surface. Rusted upon first use and cleaning! Unreal.
