BrylaneHome Umbrella Standard Side Table

I give this umbrella holder 5 stars because it’s better than most, I’ve ever purchased and I did not need to fill it with cement or sand or water. Now, the assembly is the only pain in the neck but when done it’s beautiful. I bought four of these and on a very windy day here on New York’s waterfront did one turn on its side. But the others very stable and on flat ground. Once I moved it to a better location and put some plants on top it was perfect. I say just make sure on a flat surface and the umbrella is not overwhelmingly heavy. I think the round ones on this sight are perfect but if you have a heavy umbrella then be prepared to do something extra to fill it to make it heavy.

I use this product outdoors to hold my umbrella. What I really like about it, is that it holds my umbrella way better than the umbrella stand that I brought with my umbrella. This holds the umbrella in place without toppling over or waiving to the left without balance. I can't really complain, and I also love the price! Saw one last year but didn't get because of the price.

We love the table, but with the winds we have we had to anchor it by putting a couple of boards as a bottom shelf, then adding pavers inside the table. We knew we had to do something to make it heavier because of other reviews, but it was just what we needed for a certain spot on our deck. It withstands pretty strong winds once we added that and it's perfect!!!

This is just what we wanted to put between two chairs on our patio with an umbrella for shade. We did not install the cross piece in the bottom and instead used our 28.2 lb. umbrella stand underneath the table for more stability as we have a lot of wind here. Looks very nice with our umbrella and is so practical.

We just received and assembled this umbrella stand side table. We had read in many reviews this table is very light weight and by itself, would not hold an umbrella upright if there's any breeze whatsoever. We knew we'd have to add weight if we purchased it. What we didn't know is that there's no bottom to this unit, only cross bars which makes adding weight to the inside of the table very complicated. Potential customers, heed this warning.

looks good, but it will rust. Had the 6 X 10' umbrella in it and it blew over really easily. Put a wire mesh bottom on the cross beams and a bag of garden stones and works well. Needed a little more weight for the bigger umbrella. Neighbors asked where they could get it.

This is a great idea serving a dual purpose. Unfortunately, it is not heavy enough to hold the umbrella upright in a wind event. Afternoon thunderstorms are common in the Spring and Summer in our area and twice now the entire assembly has tipped completely over and has been found laying against the wall when I have returned home in the evening after a storm.

Table is terrific, BUT I purchased an umbrella from Brylane Home to go into the center hole and it could not be tightened enough with the screw inside the table to hold it in place. A wind lifted the umbrella out of the table and into the pool. There was no way to tighten the screw to secure the umbrella.

I was disappointed at the poor quality. It was easy to put together, but the screws were painted over and the umbrella hole did not lie flat on the table. Good concept, but it needed to be larger so the umbrella would not fall down. The customer service was accommodating, so I would purchase from this vendor again.

I have never been so disappointed in an online shopping experience as I have with this one. After purchasing the item, I was than informed it was backordered. Not wanting to wait for a back ordered item, I called to cancel the item. I was than told I could not cancel because it was in the process of being prepared to ship even though I was just informed it was back ordered. After receiving the item and trying to put it together, I discovered that the pre-drilled holes did not align and I had to contact the company for a new piece. I then waited an additional two weeks for that item. After finally being able to put the table together, I am not too impressed. The screws leave rust marks and the slots on the table are too wide. In addition, I had issues wit the Brylane billing department. After the item was backordered, they somehow lost my billing info and than started sending collection notices before I had even received a replacement part. I will never again shop here.
