I needed something that I could move to be able to clean behind. I had an old heavy couch and was looking for something simple and smaller. It's mainly for my cats to have an elevated place for their beds. I don't need to use it as a bed. It's the perfect size and weight for me to manage. I also liked that it didn't have that 'funny' chemical smell to it. It arrived quickly and well protected. I covered it to help protect it from cat fur. Very pleased with this purchase.

I am a total novice at putting together furniture, but this was a breeze!! There are only 7 total pieces. There's main futon body, the legs (which screw on with no tool), and the two arms (which slide into place with no assembly). I am a petite woman (95 lbs), and this fits me well. If you are a large size or a heavy weight, this may be too small for you. For a teenager, child, or pre-teen this is an appropriate size. The futon is a good value for the price. It doesn't take up much space and has a nice minimalist design that will blend with most styles. I am glad I bought it!
