Assembly instructions were very vague, scale 1-5 with 5 being the hardest to follow, they were about a 4. The seat could use more padding, for a senior it becomes a little too hard rapidly, shortening length of desire exercise time. It said batteries included and were not. Overall I will recommend it as a budget friendly machine.
